    on the Pretentious Turnpike.
Wowputting together an adjective and a noun that look like they shouldn't be paired 40 times a song is "avant garde".

Face ithis penchant for that device is worse than The Beastie Boys using a metaphor in every 5b4other phrase of their songs.

Do you honestly have nothing better to do then go on message boards and scream "I'M DIFFERENT, LOOK AT ME!"? It's okay if you dont like Beck, but there's no need to make yourself look like an beep Also, if you hate him so much, then why the hell are you here. I dont believe in God, but I dont go down to my local church during mass and call everyone stupid little beep Try actually getting a life and doing something that you enjoy instead of complaining about beep that isn't going to change no matter how much you bitch and whine about it.

I tell you I don't like him and why = I look like an ass.
You crying, bellyaching, flaming, and making incoherent analogies = A good post.
When did this become Bizarro World?
Come back when Beck makes a song with lyrics that don't look like something Wesley Willis threw away and he picked up and I'll capitulate.

I get down like James Brown!

              The entirety of
              Sea Change
, in addition to numerous other songs from his other albums?

Nice try, but I have his first 3 albums and they are all nonsensical lyrically. As for the rest, I can just do a lyrics search to show you are full of it.

You think "Pay No Mind" ,"Blackhole" "Jack-Ass" "The New Pollution" and "Ramshackle" are nonsense lyrically? And
                  Mutations
                  ?
                  Mutations
hardly has any of his off the wall lyrics! Whatever, the only album that consists entirely of such things is
                  Midnite Vultures
                  , which you da0apparently haven't even heard.
You can just do a lyrics search? So you're
                  sure
they have nonsense lyrics, even though you haven't heard them?

:🤷: I think it's sort of fun and interesting. He only did the super-nonsensical stuff on his earlier albums. He's used a similar style on more recent albums, but the word-mixing is a lot more coherent. I like to treat it like a puzzle to decipher. He doesn't do it all the time, either. Modern Guilt and Sea Change, especially, have pretty straightforward lyrics.

You have his first three albums, but you hate him? What? Why would you buy three albums of someone who you don't like? I get liking a song, buying an album, and realizing that the rest of the music isn't your thing, but THREE albums? Why wouldn't you call it quits after you realized that you didn't like him the first time?
