It's a great voice, all I've seen him in is the first 3 Saw movies and he really made that character's signifigance and chilling nature work onscreen.
His voice in the saw movies is similar to Lance Henricksen's character/s in Aliens, Alien 3 and Aliens vs Predator the videogame 2010.

^^Agreed, both his voice as well as Lance's voice just sound badass.

Huh, he does sound a little bit like Lance. Can't believe I never noticed that before.
Both of them do have pretty distinct voices. 🙂

In around the world in 80 days he shows up near the very end where the main villain goes on a rant telling everyone that no one can stop him then after he says "you?" For the 3rd time then you'll see Tobin in a top hat and a mustache displaying a surprised look in his face. Keep an eye out and try not to blink. By the way he's not credited.

I recently met him at Comic Con and I was surprised to hear how different his voice sounds in real life. He lowers his voice considerably for his role as John Kramer, and I think even changes his accent a little bit. Either way, I find his voice incredibly soothing in a rather odd sense!
