I don't understand. Are you actually serious? Is she some High-Up in the Fox Network or something? Cause I can understand being PO'ed at someone who cancelled Futurama & Titus. <
Gail Berman was the President of FOX Entertainment when
Titus
was cancelled, along with several other good, promising shows. While someone could presumably cast doubt on Gail Berman's role in the premature cancellation of other well-received series' (thos16d0e I have seen mentioned include
The Critic,
Futurama,
Family Guy,
amongst others), there is no doubt in the case of
Titus.
Christopher Titus and Gail Berman got along like propane and fire. She hated Chris, and Chris hated her. She and some other senior-level execs at FOX wanted to make some drastic changes to the show as Season 3 was underway, essentially because they felt it was too edgy (apparently they are under the delusion that all households in the U.S. are perfectly functional and healthy, as opposed to dysfunctional and unhealthy). Chris was opposed to this, and the show was cancelled.
I am not sure how Gail Berman ascended to the level in which she has, since talent, an ability to spot or even retain successful television programming, and attractiveness can all be ruled out, but she has no business there. -

You people are, to be quite frank, idiots. The president of a network does not have complete authoritythey have their own bosses to answer too and they are more of a figurehead for the network than anything, there are dozens of other people that make decisions too.
The fact is that Gail Berman was a fan of FOX's genre shows (Firefly, Tru Calling, Dark Angel, Wonderfalls) and that's why FOX has had so many even though they usually fails. Gail is usually NOT the one that makes the decision to cancel them.
She also doesn't like reality TV that much but another guy at the network, who developed all of FOX's reality shows, was on the good side of Gail's higher-ups and they put his shows on the air.

For the record, she admitted to canceling the show.

Regardless of feeling bad about it, she still did it. A show that when aired in the PROPER order makes sense and helps develop the proper characterization that she helped cut short and screw over with poor executive decisions such as the afore mentioned airing the episodes out of order, and leaving the show to die in the Friday night death slot. She should feel horrible for treating the work of Joss Whedon like that, someone she "claimed" to respect creatively. -

Well she IS a bitch.but for actual reasons that I have evidence of. Mainly that she told comedian/actress Margaret Cho that she was "too fat" to play HERSELF in her own tv show, which resulted in them putting her in an intensive exercise and diet that almost killed her..and they ended up cancelling the show anyway and replacing her with DREW CAREY. The fact that a woman who is over weight told another woman that she is too fat and ugly to be in her own show makes her a huge bitch. I don't care if this makes me look like an beep but this post is like 95% legit. I mean I don't agree with everyone calling her a fat ugly bitch or anything.I don't think we need to resort to making fun of someone for how they look. But her personality and attitude make her a bitch. She's just a bully who cancels amazing shows.
