I don't get it either. Bonnie is not attractive in the least. Robert could have done much better that's for sure.

I agree too but when guys are alone and become middle-aged (or older) they look for younger women who'll take care of them and because they're afraid of being alone. Look at Alec Baldwin. Robby, being from the old school, probably married her because she was pregnant. What I don't get is why Christian Brando went for her. He was fairly nice looking and was a few years younger than her.
