I watched it too. I dont like Piers Morgan, but geez. Blake couldn't be more annoying if he tried. The way he kept calling him "Charlie" over and over? And does he honestly think any big time producer or director would hire him? He's nuts! and totally washed up! No one cares about Our Gang anymore Robert!
Oh, I've chosen my words carefully Persian perhaps you should have done the same. Leonidas -

Actually Piers Morgan was being called Charlie Potatoes, or sometimes just Charlie, by a clearly out of touch Robert Blake.
I don't know if half of Blake's stories about his upbringing/parentage are even true anymore. Thought he was a fantastic actor in his movies and TV roles, but I think his constant feeling sorry for himself about every single slight in his life has caused him to be one angry person. For many, life hasn't been a bed of roses, but he has had a lot more than some. He mentioned when he was arrested he had 25 million dollars, and he still gets a pension plus his social security, and with his salary from days gone by, might be fairly large compared to most. In fact, most people don't even have a pension. Plus, he has three children who I hope love him and that he loves them. I think he has more in life than he wants to believe at this point. -

The man is clearly a full blown sociopathic narcissist. He is only slightly more lucid than Charles Manson. In fact, there are some truly marked similarities between Manson's rambling and nicknaming and Blake's. Just a big bag of crazy.

Yeah, Piers Morgan scored big on this one. I was impressed (and I have only watched him once or twice for fleeting moments) by his focus and composure while sitting across from a replete nutcase. I almost expected Blake to pull out one of his trusty sidearms (of course along with the bitterness and narcissism I could detect a lot of posturing in his barkings). Anyway, short of a weapon against him Piers could always lay him out probably. We are talking about a long expired tough guy here, about 79 years old, 5'3", buck and a half pounds at most. Now, that would have been a real coup.

Actually he may have helped himself in some twisted way. Yeah, he will never be hired for any major film project (or even a B level indy for that matter), but he may land some reality type gig. No publicity is bad publicty and, perhaps regrettably, the public does eat his brand of insanity.

That is my thinking as well. Whatever anyone thinks of how he was in the interview or how he is in life. I personally was enthralled and could not stop watching the interview.
A little bit of CrayCray goes a long way in reality tv so for Robert Blake, that could set him up forever.
However, with all the talk of the last beautiful movie and what a great actor he has always been (his own words), he would probably not agree to reality tv.
You know what I would like? Put him into one of the existing reality shows and let him loose. I could watch an hour of him bashing the Kardashians.

I usually watch Piers if the interviewee or subject of the day interest me. I had NO plans to watch the Robert Blake interview. I planned to click it on for maybe a few minutes and probably turned to something else. I started watching it after it was on for 20 mins.
But H-O-L-Y C-R-A-P I was not prepared f2000or what I got when I turned it on!
That was probably one of the craziest interviews I ever seen! Blake is one tough old S.O.B isnt he? I thought it was only a matter of time before he jumped over the table and stabbed Piers with a shank lol. I agree with everyone here, he is an unstable loon! I mean he's been through a lot (clearly lol), but my god he came off as a nutjob! I mean for one, what the hell was he wearing?? It look like something he picked up at the local Salvation Army on Sunset an hour before he got to the set. He cussed so much, CNN actually didnt pick up one of his S bombs and I heard it on TV (but that was later beeped out in the other airings). I could NOT believe what I was watching. Piers, or Charlie, did his best to calm the guy down and was only asking questions that people really care to even watch. I didnt know much about his wife's murder and I was living abroad when the trial was happening so picked up the pieces here and there, but I had no idea how much it affected him. And affected him it did!
But yeah, this interview will live in infamy. Hell it was SO good, after I watched it the first time, it came on two other times here in L.A. and watched both of them from the beginning! It definitely will create interest as this is the first time I ever been on Robert Blakes page, well, ever! But yeah he is pretty deluded if he thinks people want to work with him again. The guy hasnt been in a big Hollywood film in nearly 20 years and the name Robert Blake is now tabloid fodder these days, especially after that interview. And with his ranting and raving for nearly an hour, who the hell wants to work with that for weeks and months on end. I feel sorry for him, but his life as an actor is over.
But yeah I dont know, maybe its just Piers lol. This guy has gotten some of the most antagonistic guest in the last year. Christine O Donnell walked off his set (or magically disappeared). He got into it with Toure over the Trayvon Martin case with Zimmerman's brother and Toure basically shouted down the man and said he didnt understand black people or Americans to even talk about it. And just recently, his interview with John Edwards mistress, Rielle Hunter, was so heated, I thought she was going to walk off as well. Chick was HIGHLY offended because the guy asked her questions shes probably got a hundred times already and the ONLY reason anyone care to listen to her.
But all those look almost magical compared to Robert Blake lol. I think he was the first one ever to not only cuss at Piers but actually told him to shut up at one point!
His ratings will go through the roof this week, thats for sure. America is never a dull place I give you that! -

This Piers Potatoes is not an interviewer. He 's just a small dog that grabs your leg and never knows when it's time to quit. Very irritating but not at all interesting person. Did this guy know that Robert Blake is an actor and appeared in movies and on TV before he was on trial and in prison ?

You know that's an excellent point Mr. Berlette. Blake is a has been, but he did have a somewhat durable, varied, and semi-distinguished career in films and tv. He could have stroked him a little more before getting to the meat. He does seem a bit inept as an interviewer, but I have not seen him in action very much so that may be premature of me.

who gives jack beep
Oh, I'm sorry, you were an actor? Jesus christ. Damn. Yes, lets gloss over what happens in reality as opposed to something you did in a fictional set. No offense but I hope that you're not a journalist
I wonder if you said the same thing about OJ.
