Will evolution do away with emotion?

Evolution will only heighten emotion and compassion. People are better than they were 30 years ago and them 30 years before that.
We see it in sports. Classy sportsmanship is up. Ovechkin broke Gretzky’s record. The opposing team and fans clapped for him. In the 80s, he would’ve gotten booed and pummelled to the ice. We hear players say “I don’t want anyone to get hurt” when in the 80s, that was the goal. Opposing players literally hated each other and weren’t above breaking a bone of theirs to remove them from play.
Fish definitely have emotion. Humans ignore them because they’re hard to detect. Humans like to take advantage of their status at the top of the power hierarchy and demean, ignore the pain of others when they can get away with it.

What emotion do fish have?
While human capacity or rather, familiarity with their emotion will increase due to life becoming easier, it will be moot once “evolution” births the culmination of our line via AI dominance. Because AI will feel nothing and machine will outlast us.
Stop.
