Ya, perhaps. But it's just an opinion, I don't think she's as annoying in season 6 and 7 and don't mind her staying on the show, but you would disagree, it doesn't matter really.

Marc Blucas is a fantastic actor and did the character of Riley Finn justice. He played both the sincere bits and the action bits really well.. and even if his character began to peter out near the end, it doesnt mean his acting got any worse.

I thought he did a decent job as Riley because you were supposed to hate him. He's a fairly good actor. The worst actor ever is actually Paul Walker of The Fast and The Furious Fame. That guy makes Ben Affleck's acting look good.

He's a Jerry O'Connell replacement/wannabe, deal with it, he really sucked in buffy, and as for why everyone likes the spike/buffy relationship, is because of Spikes whole struggle, Plus the accent Marsters provides, beats anything riley adds to the show

Marc is a good actor I liked him in season four of Buffy The Vampire Slayer but I thought the character kinda sucked because it was apart of the plot that Buffy loses everyone and then dies. But I think I liked the whole Buffy/Riley then Buffy/Spike because I felt that relationship was just wrong every sexual scene Buffy and Spike had felt like a rape scene over and over which I thought was way too much for a show that kids watched.
I agree I think they should have killed Dawn off at the end of season 5 because she didn't have any storylines after that. But Dawn wasn't responsible for the shows decline it was Joss Whedon and the fact Sarah didn't really make things easy because she didn't want to do the show anymore. -

This is my first time posting on the message boards here for Marc. I generally frequent the one for Val Kilmer. But I had quite a uh dream last night that for some reason Marc was in, soooo I came on here and sadly I find myself posting first on a negative thread. I was a huge Buffy fan. I loved Angel and Buffy. I cried my eyes out at the end of Season 3 when Angel left. Then in Season 4, which sadly was one of the weaker seasons in my opinion, came Riley. I thought who the hell is this goody two shoes to come in and replace Angel. Then I found myself absolutely adoring him. Marc lent a special something to that character. Here was a character who was confident, strong and sure of what his place was in the world. Along came Buffy and he would come undone. There was a vulnerability there that was touching. But not to be taken as wishy washy, he still was a man. The best episode that whole season was "Hush". The only other good thing out of that season was Riley. I didn't care for Adam, Dr. Walsh or the whole military operation. Then in Season 5 he started to take a back seat. Buffy pushed him away repeatedly determined to handle everything herself. So ultimately Riley left, in one of my favorite episodes "Into The Woods". It was such a heartbreaking episode seeing him leave, seeing her on the ground screaming for him..only for him not to he111car her. When he returned, good God was he gorgeous. So much more manly and in control. When they showed Buffy's face when he walked into her work, I felt the same way Buffy would have. lol I think the character of Riley was great. You can't compare Riley and Angel. They were two separate characters and two totally different relationships for Buffy. As for Marc, well all I can say is great character or not, if the actor playing it didn't do a good job..I would never have fell in love with that character myself.
