I was sad to hear the news of his passing. I didn't come across his work until the 70's and5b4 80's when he appeared in films such as Airport '77, Pray For Death and Avenging Force. Didn't find out until later that he wrote Pray For Death and Avenging Force, which are good films. As i am a big fan of the film Airport '77, i was on the lookout for signed index cards from the supporting cast of the film. I was happy to locate one from James Booth, which occured exactly one week before his passing.

I've only ever seen him as Hook in Zulu, but he brought a lot of comedy to a serious situation and was a high point on his own in the film. R.I.P.

Speaking of comedy, how about his role as Velasquez in ZORRO, THE GAY BLADE? He was perfect as the Alcalde's henchman!
