Which Hellraiser film does Pinhead appear more Predominatley in?

So far I've seen 4 Hellraiser films and in each one Pinhead doesn't seem to be the star or at least even the villain in the films like the cover always says. I've seen 1, 2, 7, and 8. I was wondering which of the Hellraiser films actually has Pinhead as the star of the film?

If you want him as the star, you're going to have to watch the third movie Hell on Earth. The fourth, Bloodlines, has more Pinhead as well, but he isn't really the main focus of it.

the 4th one has him in it quite alot (in 1996 and 2157 or something like that) but to see him at his sinister best hellriaser 3's rave bit has to be seen.

You'll want # III, Hell on Earth, due out on DVD on 8/8.

Hell on Earth is one of my favorites, it has easily the best Pinhead dialogue of any of them.

The third one I think - bearing in mind that I haven't seen more than 5 of them.
Only in the third one we get to see a lot of his backstory, and to meet with Elliott Spenser.
It's actually my favourite Hellraiser movie.
He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!
