Nope, not cherry picking. Just going by wht's printed. It's not my responsibility to tell her to have IMDb update her quotes. If she wants to be quoted she needs to make sure it's accurate.

Your vast experience in and great understanding of the American existence while you're in Brazil?
You clearly have NO idea how ironic that question is and that makes you look like a huge douchebag.
I swear Americans are living in a giant bubble where the rest of the world can see inside, but Americans see nothing but a mirror, from their point of view.

        Really I am not going to list my travels and experiences because you would still hold your same inane xenophboia. Also, quoting our Dictator in Chief "Let me be clear!";
I DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES THINKS OF ME OR AMERICA!!!
You may hate us (B.F.D.) but who's first on the speed dial when a tsunami, hurricane or earthquake hit?
I would dearly love to close all our military bases outside of the country and bring our soldiers home. I would love to get the US and US money out of the UN and let them solve their own problems without our soldiers, equipment and money! I would love to turn our foreign aid back into our country! I would love it if a REAL President would say "There's a problem in Whatever-stan? Well, I hope they can figure it out because we aren't!" Instead we have had a succession of Presidents who want to be the World Police. Since 1913 we have had a bunch of Socialist morons (starting with Woodrow Wilson) ruining our country, spreading our wealth around the globe and bleeding us dry. Yeah, this douchebag wants to take my marbles and go home while I still have one. Yes, Boo-boo, I noticed you calling me names. Like I said, I don't care.
Oh, and like the previous psuedo-intellectual I tried to talk with, you too have failed to answer the simple question I put forth. You were just a little too anxious to attack me. Please, though, re-read what I posted above in red. And you be sure to have yourself a really nice day, moocher.

Well, I don't see it as a problem at all. The on5b4ly problem I am identifying is that you can't seem to hold an intelligent conversation-like all Libtards. You just trash and bash. I don't care what the rest of the world thinks-why should I? The opinion of me of some Frenchman in the hills has exactly what to do with my life? Oh, and how on earth can I be "jingoistic" when I want America to
get out of everyone else's business
? Or were you just itching to slander me for some odd reason? Or, could it be, that Boo-boo doesn't know the Oxford definition of the word? That is OK, I do not mind filling in the gaps of public education!
Oh yeah you Americans are the pinnacle of empathy
Yeah, we are. How much money we have donated to other countries-through the Red Cross, Salvation Army and other private church donations, is phenomenal. Look up how much was given to Haiti alone after that earthquake. To quote a caveman, "Yeah, why don't try doing a little research."
And please, try to come up with something other than trash and bash It is so tiresome.

Libtard is a word that intelligent people use?
Yes, it is. An American colloquialism, a nonce word. A contraction of

                eral and re

. Had I wished to be snarky, I could have replied with "an intelligent person would already know the answer to that" But I don't wish to be. Now, are you going to answer
                any
of the questions I've posed? I sincerely doubt it because you are the type of person who is great at being falsely superior and judgmental yet cannot justify any judgments made. Last chance, Scooter.

                  On a cursory glance at this guy's profile page, the following can be read;
"Al "Forrest" Gore and John "Stolen Honor" Kerry lost. The law proved it, you pathetic Marxist Socialists suck it up and deal. Thank God that they did, I can't make that much phlem to speak Arabic!" and
"A man with a gun is a citizen whereas a man without a gun is a subject."
                  Speaks volumes, doesn't it?
Also, there is no such word as "genious". Or "phlem" for that matter. Amusing.
"I have dreams of a rose, and falling down a long flight of steps."

How nice, you read my profile. And yes, it does speak volumes-I am a Patriot, I believe in the Constitution and can read history. So I disagree with a libtard and call her out on it? Your problem iswhat again? That I exercise my Freedom of Speech? Let me guess, that is only for liberals and Socialists who want to enslave this country Sorry to disappoint, I am loud and proud: LONG LIVE THE CONSTITUTION!!!
I am amused by your sad attempts at deriding me, try again? Or am I supposed to take what you said seriously?

Ronald Reagan was one of the best of the best. The real clown was Jimmy Carter, now we have Jimmy Carter on steroids. A true racist dictator, one who wipes his butt with the Constitution. Reagan restored A5b4merica's pride after that moronic (failure of a) peanut farmer humiliated America. Reagan showed strength where Carter and Obama show weakness. History backs me up, nice try

It is truly disturbing, sad, and pathetic and shows your absolute willful ignorance and rejection of history that you actually, seriously believe with all your heart that you live under a "dictator." God, if you could actually experience life for one day in an ACTUAL dictatorship anywhere in the world past or present, I would love to see how your tune changed.

OK, show me where in the Constitution that the Federal government can MANDATE I buy health insurance, tell what I am going to pay for it and what I am going to get. Since the government is ultimately going to "pay" for it and administer it, they are going to have complete and total control of my health and therefore my life. That is my first reason. Second, unaccountable unelected Czars Theft of my wages His "civilian security force, just as well trained and well funded as the military" Violations of and complete disregard for civil rights (not to mention his complete lack of understanding of the Constitution and his continual micturating on it!) Nationalization of banks and private industry-my "willful ignorance and rejection of history" tells me that this very similar to the early stages of Adolf Hitler-or any garden variety Socialist dictator. Ummm, Hitler
                            was
a bad, bad man wasn't he? Since I am ignorant of history I wouldn't know I just thought I heard something about Obama's Brown shirts in that list-then again he has a good start at that with the Black Panthers and their voter intimidation Soft tyranny is still tyranny and I can hardly wait for that inexperienced, brainless, incompetent buffoon to get out of office, one way or another-
EXCLUDING ASSASSINATION! LET ME BE CLEAR: I DO NOT WISH THAT ON ANYONE!!!
(I am not a Socialist panty waste liberal, after all)-or for the inevitable break up of the Union. The sooner we secede the better!!! Then the sucklings can take all of the milk from the depleted sow they want and leave us alone.

Dearie me, sagefoole, you come across as a complete goose and that is to someone who actually likes America and values its contribution to the world.
I'm Australian. No one has ever questioned our courage or tenacity. Or called us commies or socialist sympathisers. Yet we have universal healthcare and despite some rorting of it I think life would be a lot worse without it. What the hell is worse - compelling people to get health cover for themselves, or compelling them to join the army and fight overseas? Given you Yanks relied on conscription while us Aussies volunteered in WWI and WWII (only conscription for home defence) I can tell you which option I'd prefer the government compel me to take.
We live in a complex world, increasingly so, and good government is needed more than ever to coordinate services and handle the complexity. The solution is not less government or outright hostility to those who govern - it is to elect better politicians.
America under Reagan/Bush/Bush did not get smaller government, it got larger government, the very thing you are supposed to despise. We need to make government more accountable and more nimble.
As for the guns issue, the situation in the US is just insane, and this is from someone who likes guns and has done a bit 7ecof shooting. Having a heavily armed populace is only a sign of your immaturity and lack of confidence, and don't give me that second amendment crap. The lack of personal safety in the US is horrifying, Joe Public should not be allowed easy access to firearms. If you want to shoot, join the army.
And your profile makes you seem just a little obsessive.
"We're actors! We're the opposite of people!"

Well, HOW ARE THINGS DOWN UNDER?!?! I miss Australia
I'm Australian. No one has ever questioned our courage or tenacity. Or called us commies or socialist sympathisers. Personally, I do not want the government telling me I have to buy health insurance. It is not their business and I have yet, after all of my research and reading the Constitution, figured out just where they get the authority to compel me to do so. Let alone confiscating my earnings to provide health care for someone else. Furthermore, I do not want them telling me how to live my l111cife. Once they are in my health-remember the old saying about the Golden Rule? "He who has the gold makes the rules." Well, it isn't a great leap of logic for them to start dictating-"Sir,
                                We
think you drink too much beer-you have to stop or we will not pay for your treatment." Besides,
                                Roe v. Wade
, the miscarriage of justice that allows for the murder of babies, invented this bubble of privacy around a woman's body where the government has no business. Well, under the 'equal protection clause' I guess I have that right too. Oh, WWI & II, where two power hungry ego-maniacal dictator socialist (i.e. Democrats) presidents got us into wars that were none of our business You did, however, forget about Viet Nam and Korea, two more wars that were none of our business-they were conscript wars too. So was the War of Northern Aggression, where another Chicago thug politician tried to be a dictator. The Yankees had to draft for their mini genocide, the Confederacy was all volunteer At least the South was willing to volunteer to fight for the States rights. NOT, as the urban legend goes, for slavery. Also, the last time we in America thought that one group of people were entitled to the labor of another group the Constitution marked the second group as three-fifths of a person and they were owned by the first group.
I don't disparage Australia in any way, I loved it there. Wonderful people, so warm and welcoming. However, Obamacare, government sponsored health care, is socialized medicine. Look it up! It is in the Socialist Party platform! The Communist Manifesto! Black and white, plainly spelled out for those that will read. We are being victimized, subjugated and enslaved by zero liability voters.
If we minded our own business and got out of other places like Europe, and they had to raise and support their own military forces (not just tokens) would they be able to afford health care? I doubt it
We live in a complex world, increasingly so, and good government is needed more than ever to coordinate services and handle the complexity. The solution is not less government or outright hostility to those who govern - it is to elect better politicians.
I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said that "That which governs best, governs least." The Founders intended for the power to rest locally. Was it Cicero that said "Freedom is participation in power?" I sure can't do that now, all of the power was stolen by Leviathan located in Mordor on the Potomac. I personally define freedom as the maximum absence of coercion from the government. But the world is no where near as complex as you think-people just need to do a whole lot of leaving each other alone! And I have the right to be hostile and even speak contemptuously about those that misgovern. It is in the First Amendment. Or is that crap, too?
America under Reagan/Bush/Bush did not get smaller government, it got larger government, the very thing you are supposed to despise. We need to make government more accountable and more nimble.
You left out Bubba Clinton. But you are correct. However Reagan did try to get the governors to convene an Amendment Convention to reign in the runaway governmentAs for the guns issue, the situation in the US is just insane, and this is from someone who likes guns and has done a bit of shooting.
Having a heavily armed populace is only a sign of your immaturity and lack of confidence, and don't give me that second amendment crap.
Crap??? The founding document of our legal system is crap??? The fact that Tojo said he would never have invaded the US because there was a gun (and hence the ability to defend the country) behind every blade of grass must be crap too. Or that the fact that the US citizens having guns made it easy to beat the British invaders-both in the Revolutionary War AND the War of 1812 So, let's take your perspective and see how well it works. LA has some of the most restrictive guns laws in the country. So does DC and

Sagefoole, thank you for your remarks about Ms. Braga. Imagine, a woman brought up in high style in a third world country, making remarks about the greatest country the world has ever seen, all the while making (another) fortune in that land. Alice, go kiss my a##. Make your money in Brazil, where you can live like a queen. We don't have queens here. Stay there.

What really irritates me isn't the stupidity that vomits forth from the pie hole of these vacuous idiots-it is the sheeple that actually take them seriously that gets me. Why is this pop tart given more credence than someone who has actually studied issues and history? Her job is to play act. She pretends to be someone else. She reads that which was written by another and pretends it is her own thought. Basically she makes a boat load of money to do what a six year old does for pleasure. What children do to entertain their parents at the elementary school production. But because she is an actress she is mystically and magically smarter than anyone else? Please! And she isnt even that impressive an actress-mediocre is a better term.
Liberalism-ideas so great they are mandated at gunpoint!!!

She never badmouths the US just George Bush. In fact, she compli238mented the US.
Since when are foreign actresses not allowed to have opinions about presidents? That seems stupid.
GW sucks. One of the worst presidents in history. His administration condoned torture and lied to the US to get 'em in to an unnecessary war. Plus, he was stupid and he pandered to idiots.
I think her sentiment is actually spot on really.
