See, I really liked Riley's character, and I like Marc Blucas. I thought he did a g111creat job with his character. Blucas had to be uncomfortable and awkward in most of his scenes. His character was a stiff military guy, who was being used as a lab rat, practically thinks he can leap tall buildings in a single bound, and when it turns out he can't, almost dies, then has to re-adjust to being a normal person with normal person abilities. Riley was used to taking directions from someone he trusted, the rug was pulled out, and then it turns out, he's just like everyone else. And no matter how many times, or how many ways Buffy said it, he never felt that he could be her equal, in love (or demon fighting talents). The character was written to be uncomfortable. The one slot that Riley thought he fit into (the military), was a lie. That would make anyone uncomfortable.
Sorry if it seems I am ranting. I don't mean to be. Not my intention. I just have such a soft spot for Riley. I never liked Buffy and Spike being together (but I understand why it happened), and I hated the fact that Buffy and Angel were torn apart. And I always thought, if Buffy can never be "be" with Angel at all, then she should be with Riley. But that idea is a fantasy in an already made-up world.

well yeah. but i really more look at their acting rather than how they look, they're all great actor/esses.

Xander would be at the top of my list if it weren't for the transitions of both his and Spike's personalities in the last three seasons.
Here are my lists:

SPIKE (I'm totally straight, but James Marsters is one fine piece of man ace!)

Notice a couple of people missing? That's right, Buffy and Angel. I just don't see itespecially Angel; he looks like he has Down's Syndrome (as do Matt Damon and Brendan Fraser), and that's just not attractive to me.
Of course, I could put more obscure characters in my list, maybe even some with only one episode (Warren's robot chick in season 5 comes to mind), but that would take to long.

Men:- Angel (Angel's appearance in Buffy Season 7 clinches it)
- Giles (Would be the ultimate father figure)
- Spike (Ending of Season 6, acting masterclass)
- Forrest (Killed by Adam in Season 4 but great presence)
- Oz (Dingoes Ate My Baby, nuff said)
- Mayor Wilkins (Humour and psychosis in a great package)
- Sweet (Demon from Once Again With Feeling, even I found him sexy)
- Xander (Everyman appeal)
- Quentin Travers (His Churchillian speech two seconds before Caleb blows him up)
- Olaf (b68Mead, wenches and a very big hammer)
Women: - Faith (Out-of-this world sexiness)
- Anya (Wholesome and afraid of bunnies)
- Kendra (The accent, and the moves)
- Cordelia (In Angel, when she really came into her own)
- Buffy (No need to specify, surely)
- Chao-An (Asian charm)
- Willow (especially Vampire Willow)
- Jenny (Gipsy allure and mesmerizing eyes)
- Tara (Really developed the character well and became beautiful)
