Huge radical liberal who is hardcore behind her support for abortion. She spends her time and money pushing abortion, pushing liberal Democrats just like herself to further the reach of abortion in America. Do you think letting your kids watch Nashville and look up to someone like her is setting a good example? If you are pro-life, maybe you should consider not watching Nashville any further giving her more money, more power and more success to push her agenda and possibly indoctrinate your kids by having a role model of someone who would pushes the 1+ million abortions in America. If that is something that concerns you, think about turning Nashville off and anything else Connie Britton endorses or stars in.

I would say in her mind that she is radical in her opinion that it is the right of the woman to choose and not necessarily whether she is in "support of abortion" as you put it. But you continue blathering on as if Connie Briton is some kind of anti-Christ/mass murderer. Pleeeaaasse!

Wow. Up to this point I couldn't stand her. But now I have a new111c found respect for her.
Abortion is legal in the US. it has been since the 70s. You want to fight for something? How about you and you talibn conservatives start supporting all those children you forced people to have. Y'all aren't pro-life, you are pro-birth, but the moment the child takes its first breath then you people are done with it. -

That's a lot of assumptions about the OP, and about people who oppose abortion. There are plenty of us who don't have religious or ideological reasons for opposing it, and we don't need those reasons it's a barbaric, disgusting practice. People like you have made it socially unacceptable to even advocate on behalf of the lives casually snuffed out, mostly because having a baby is deemed inconvenient.
What a beep up world we live in. -

I hope you are thinking about that while enjoying your breakfast eggs or jerking off, which by your logic would basically amount to mass murder.
What's "barbaric and disgusting" is how people like you keep putting a lump of cells, which hasn't even grown a nervous system and as such can't feel or think, above the safety of a fully grown and sentient human being.
Who gave you the right to decide what other people do with
their
bodies?
It's also kind of cute how you pretend that neither religious or ideological reasons led you to your stance, if it's none of those two then it obviously must be your lack of education on the actual issue, as you offer not actual reasons besides your own
opinion
of it being "barbaric and disgusting".
Stem cell research could be the key to saving billions of lives down the line, you simply don't care, 2000you'd rather have us still living in caves and die to the most mundane diseases because a treatments could have possible side-effects.
mostly because having a baby is deemed inconvenient.
What was that again about ideological reasons? All you have to offer is this cheap and overused strawman, complimented by your own "opinion" which you didn't even bother to explain
You know what i consider "barbaric and disgusting"? People who think they can dictate others how they should live their lives, just mind your own darn business. -

You really got worked up into a rage, didn't you? Tell me, what's "a lump of cells" in the third trimester?
You also might want to think about being on the wrong side of history. Doubtless you are aware that support for abortion is trending down with each generation, and when all is said and done you don't want to look like the people who opposed ending slavery or opposed gay marriage. That wouldn't be a good look for you, what with the rage and all. -

I am not a conservative nor a liberal - I'm a registered Independent who has my own opinion about abortion and women's rights (I'm a woman after all). I just don't understand what the person is trying to point out in the above comment which I put in bold? Especially after the child takes its first breath, why wouldn't "Taliban conservatives" (as you strangely put it) care? Also WTF is a "Taliban conservative" - I have never heard of that "title" before and its weird. I think someone has explaining to do w/this statement. ALL LIVES MATTER ESPECIALLY ONCE A CHILD TAKES THEIR FIRST1354 BREATH AND THEY SHOULD CONTINUE TO MATTER.
I could carless if Britton is a liberal or not and its her choice/freedom to believe in abortion if she wants. That's what so great about our country the "freedom of speech" b/c we have our "men and women in uniform overseas who are making sure we get to keep the wonderful freedom we have" The military are truly our heroes as well as their family at home. My father and husband were both Marines and my Uncle was in the Army (retired after 35 years), I have SO much respect for "men/women serving our country". So, we are a lucky country to be able to speak out how we feel, just don't listen to the bias media who is tearing this country apart w/lies. I'm looking forward to a "fresh start" in 2017! GOD BLESS AMERICA! -

Here are a few facts about abortion for you.
- One third of all American women will have an abortion in their lifetimes. Most are married or in long term relationships. Most were using birth control that failed.
- Most women who have abortions are already mothers. The number one reason women have abortions is FINANCIAL. They simply cannot afford to have the child. You should support economic policies that help expand the middle class. Raise the minimum wage, support unions and infrastructure spending. Improve educational opportunities so that people can get better paying jobs.
- If you want to reduce the number of abortions in the US, you should support FACT BASED education in the public schools on contraception and disease prevention.
- You should support highly effective birth control (IUDs and implants) for any woman who wants them, either paid by health insurance, Medicade or through Planned Parenthood. Only 3% of Planned Parenthood's budget is for providing abortion services and that includes abortions for victims of rape and incest.
- You should be happy to hear that the abortion rate is down.
