It's an iconic role and performance for sure.
Tami and Coach Taylor have become symbols of great TV role models as a couple and as teachers and moulders of young minds.

Yeah right. That female character is exactly what is wrong with American women, Bitch, moan, complain, oh and then cry when they don't get their way. The character was selfish, narsisstic, whiny, constantly treating her husband like a second class citizen and then played the victim.
