whatever my dad is black from 2 black parents
but his skin was light
not because there are any white people in his backround
but slavery has watered us down so much in this country
we are all mixed
so what black means today isnt what it used to mean
unless you from 1 or 2 generations off the boat
you got some mix in you

Thank you for saying it.i was totally thinking it! everyone is acting like its a bad thing to be mutliple ethnicities. I'm an african american female with Native American, Irish, and Italian backgrounds, people always notice and i love it. I proud of all my heritage.

There are many others, but I don't feel like posting them. People don't have a problem with people being mixed; people have a problem with hearing that the only way that a Black woman can be beautiful is to be mix. If somebody is African American with long hair, than she must be mix. There is a lot of that on this broad and it is retarded. I can understand people wondering because of the way somebody looks, but people on these messages boards take it too far.
