Is Bobby actually bringing out another album sometime soon? I was watching Ja Rule's "Thug Lovin'" the other day, featuring Bobby on launch.co.uk, and was thinking, he's still got it, it never left him! Yeah I know that was released in 2002 btw.
Bobbys show on Bravo doesn't come on over here in the UK, but I've seen clips on the Internet, and I'm surprised Bobby isn't crearing an album with LA Reid and Babyface as we speak

Bobby Brown is a legend in his own mind. LA & Babyface wrote and produced all the songs on his one and ONLY hit album! As far as so called re-defining the New Jack Swingplu-leeze! Teddy Riley is the one and only creator & father of the New Jack Swing, and not some child support dodging, drug addict, self proclaimed "King of R&B!"
Now chew on THAT for a while!

That FOOL ain't never been a legend. He got lucky with the help of two of the industries hottest producers at the time, and scored his ONE & ONLY hit album. Now you're right on target with the crack head part.

I don't know about "legend", but he definitely had his share of hits and one R&B classic CD in "Don't Be Cruel".. I love "Roni".. It reminds me of my fiancee, when he says:
The truth about Roni, she'ss a sweet old girl
About the sweetest little girl in the whole wild world
She'll make the toughest homeboy fall deep in love
Said once you had a Roni you will never give her up
She's a special kind of girl that makes her daddy feel proud
You know the kinda girl that stands out in crowds
Found a tender Roni and the Roni is so right
I think I'm gonna love her for the rest of my life

Sorry you feel that way. But I think of him in a different form. His personal life doesn't affect what this man has accomplished in the music industry for many years.

Im with you fam. BBB is a legend. He out shined the rest of NE in the 80's look at all the old Videos, you could tell he was destint to be a star from the beginning. My Mama Named me Bobby After her favorite NE Member. I Cant Get enough BBB. He just the man. Which one of the other clowns from NE still doing music? None But Bobby. Then they try to replace him with Johnny Gill (The Homo). Bobby Is the Only R&B singer who makes the genre look manly. He's a str8 thug and dont give a F uck. I heard he tried to whoop Ushers Gay @ss for saying he was the old king of R&B. SO what if he has a drug problem. So did Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Al Green (Before he whent gospel), Richard Prior, Michael Jackson (Pain Killers or sleep aids). This is the same man that used to get arrested for doing Tenderoni at every show. The rest of those no little talent cats in NE just were upset Cuz Booby Demanded the spotlight. WHen have you ever heard of a Ricky bell selling out a big arena???? Watch BBB and tell me he aint a star

If Bobby Brown is a legend, then so is every "one hit wonder" in the music industry.

Which one of the other clowns from NE still doing music? None But Bobby.<
Really?!..So exactly what music has Bobby put out lately??
Bobby Is the Only R&B singer who makes the genre look manly.<
Making babies all over the country, then dodging child support payments, only to have your TRUE LEGENDARY wife (whom shall remain nameless) pay them, makes him look manly?? Yeah, some "real" man!
He's a str8 thug and dont give a F uck. I heard he tried to whoop Ushers Gay @ss for saying he was the old king of R&B.<
Yeah, I read about that incident also. He made a complete ASS of himself at that party. Looking like a fake ass Eddie Kane Jr. from the "Five Heart beats." (LOL!!!! Woooo, that was a good one!) They said he looked like a pathetic OLD FOOL too! Come on, are you kidding me?! Usher is only twenty something and your boy is damn near 40. Bobby needs to grow his old ass up!
SO what if he has a drug problem. So did Jimmy Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Al Green (Before he whent gospel), Richard Prior, Michael Jackson (Pain Killers or sleep aids).<
To even dare mention that fools name in the same breath of such legends is completely laughable!
Watch BBB and tell me he aint a star<
NEWS FLASH He ain't a been a "star" for quite some time now.and will NEVER be a legend. Ohand BTW, "BBB" has been officially canceled after it's first season. People only tuned in to see Whitoopshis soon to be ex-wife anyway.
Look, I don't mean any harm, but you must be really young. That's the only way I can begin to wrap my mind around your logic. How anyone could idolize such a horrible person like Bobby Brown is unbelievable. Sorry, just my opinion.

contrary to wh2000at you belive (Your intitled to your opinion) Bobby is a entitainer. He is the man. As for an Usher and Bobby Fight. Bobby would whip ushers ass man. I seen 50v year old men put the smack down on 20 year olds before. And Bobby got that crack strength. C'mon. My lil sister can probably whop Usher. I said he made the genre look manly because look at all the R& B singers in the industry: Omarion, Babyface, Johnny Gill, I can go on and on. But the fact is they all look like down-lows (behind door d**k takers). Yes I might be young but I have been a fan of New edition since the 80's and Bobby was and still is my favorite. Its the poise he has that out shined the rest of the group. He makes you notice him As apposed to say Ronny Devo Who I thought was a deaf-mute until he finally said something in CandyGirl. They were all back up material. Ii think Ralph T. Had lead on most songs because the group was formed to be the next Jackson 5 and he sounded similar to michael, but Bobby often stole the show. The Star came out in him on Jeaalous girl. Then when he went solo. (Just my opinion)

Trapstar6, Bobby Brown is an "entertainer" for what it's worth. He had his 15 minutes of fame back in the eighties, with his one and ONLY hit album that was written & produced by LA Reid and Babyface. I think the public finds his off stage behavior more entertaining than anything. When I mentioned the age difference between he and Usher.I wasn't refering to a physical altercation between the two. I was merely pointing out that Bobby Brown is WAAAAAAAY past his prime, in terms of performance and marketing appeal. BTW, I don't particularly care for Usher myself, but like him or not, he's YOUNG & popular. That's the going thing in the music industry. It sucks, but thats just the way it is. IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING PAPER, YOUNG BROTHABOTTOM LINE!
Now I'm not sure who is or isn't as you put it"behind door d**k takers," and so what if they are. One's sexual orientation does not make a person any less of a man or woman. We're all just people at the end of the day. Look, I'm not trying to be mean, but Bobby Brown is NOT a legend and never will be. He will forever be known as Whitney Houston's "HAS BEEN," druggie, soon to be ex-husband, that had ONE hit album over 25 years ago.
P.S. I must give you points for recognizing real talents & legends (EXCEPT BOBBY) that you stated in your earlier post. You sound like you have lots of passion for what you believe in, and even if I dissagree with you.I can respect where you're coming from. A lot of young people today don't tend to care about anything. At least you do care about something.

Well on Bobby Being a legend lets just agree to disagree. On the Note of Real talent in Music. Im only 23 but I love that old stuff. I grew up on it in a since. Luther (Big Luther) Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Glays Knight, The Jackson 5, In the 80's genre or R&B: Al B. Sure, Barry White, Chico Debarge, Janet Jackson, New Edition, Hell I even dug that one song by Oran "Juice" Jones (The Rain). A lot of my friends think im wired because Id rather listen to the good stuff (That old music) Id rather hear Bobby Browns "Girlfriend" over any song Usher has ever made.
