Hey man Don't Be Crule is a classic album; I mean My Porogative (which was later ruined by Britney Spears), Roni, Every Little Step and the album's title track Don't Be Crule; give it a spin as it's New Jack Swing at it's best.

God wants Bobby Brown to sing Gospel. That is why he is having so many problems. God wants Bobby in a big way. The Bible says, "God only chastises the ones He loves." Bobby has been getting his behind kicked, lately! When he decides to praise God in his music, his whole life will change for the better.
Try it Bobby. You might like it. And I believe it is your only choice. -

I do miss him as a singer.. I think everyone is saying 'no way' because of what he is like nowadays in his personal life - which I agree, he's a bit of a loser - but music wise - my childhood would never have been the same without 'Every Little Step', 'Don't Be Cruel', 'Roni' and 'My Prerogative'.. and he really could sing.
I remember going to a concert of his in 1993 and he starting humping the stage when he belted out 'humping around' and I remember being scared - I was only 12 hehe
but yea. Bobby and Tevin Campbell were great in the 90's!

Remember 5 years ago he did a song with Ja Rule? Even though 5b4he did the chorus, it wasn't bad. The song was called "Thug Lovin'" in case some of you are wondering. Anyway, I can't say I miss him, because I was really young during his prime, when he released "Don't Be Cruel" and "Bobby", but I have heard songs from either album, and they are good.

I don't know if his singing career can ever be as it was before. In regards to how popular he was. He does have talent, though. I could see him becoming an in demand manager or producer of other talent, people breaking into the business & such. If he keeps the drugs in check, he could have somewhat of a performing comeback, too, perhaps. He does have the talent to continue in the music business. His demons is his downfall.

Bobby never had the best voice, but the man was a hell of an entertainer and made some great songs. "Don't Be Cruel" is a classic album. If he could get his act together and get serious about his singing career once again, he could have a comeback. I would like to see that. I enjoy his music.
