I'm not sure he snuck into many, if any houses. He would lure women to his car and then render them unconcious from there. The sorority house he snuck into probably had girls coming and going all the time, so it would not sound out of the ordinary there.

It's been several years since I read any of the books on Bundy, but I seem to remember he crept into the sorority house via a sliding glass door that wasn't locked. I think as someone else mentioned, there were women coming and going all of the time so a small noise like that could easily go undetected.

As far as the Chi Omega murders are concerned, he didn't exactly "sneak" in. He was in a fit of rage and made lots of noise.
