Kind of an old topic, but whatever. The stitches on Bundy's head (in his death pic) is after autopsy. I believe he asked to have his brain removed and studied after death. Either way, it had nothing to do with his head exploding or his hair catching on fire. That rarely happens nowadays. Since it's a possibility, precautions are taken so that kind of thing won't happen.
Oh, and it's quite possible to be a Christian and believe in the death penalty. Truth be told, the bible does say an eye for an eye. You kill another human being, you die. That's the nitty gritty anyway. In all honestly, no one can dish out justice except God or whatever other being is out there. Bundy and the like got off easy. He acted like a little bi*ch all the way til the end. He was even attempting to barter with the state to get his execution date pushed back. For someone who liked doling out death sentences so much, you'd think he'd have gone to old Sparky with a happy attitude.

Sure he enjoyed it!
His one of the Personal Quotes. Let me dig. How was that again? I think he said something like.
We are your Husbands and Sons. We are out there. And tomorrow your Children could be Dead!
So what does that tell you? He practicly Motivated his Alike.
It just like: Go on Murdering.
Makes me laugh, when I read he said the Pornography was the Reason for his Killing and Raping.
He didnt see the way out anymore he knew he was goin to be FRIED This was a last stupid try to keep his ASS from being FRIED
Hell I am Glad he is History.

The fact that you are constantly defending and excusing him, means you have to do the same for yourself. So you know it is not right. You have an 'unusual interest' in him. In what, though? There was no man underneath. There was no personality. He had cobbled together a well rehearsed and put-together persona, to enable him to slide under the radar and go about as a citizen.
If you ever fall into the path of a sociopath, you might not be so quick to rationalize that monster. I hope you don't meet one, because they will see you coming a mile off. -

"Um. OK Well, thats your opinion.
I'm not making excuses for myself because I have nothing to make excuses for. "
But that's what you are doing in every post. You have to explain yourself, and keep stating it's the psychological angle that interests you. But it doesn't sit right. Underneath that, you are coming from a fairly morbid angle.. that's just the way your posts read.
"As far as Ted, I've always made my feelings and thoughts on him crystal clear , even though they are not popular ones. I don't excuse his actions because they are inexusable and I'm horrified by the killings of these girls.
However, I do feel sorry for him because I believe that he had an overpowering, organic , severe mental and sexual sickness that caused compulsions to rape
, murder, have sex with the bodies that he could not control.
I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be cursed with such horrific, uncontrollable compulsions"
Well, just imagine being a robot. There really isn't much more to figure out. He didn't think he was cursed, he just did what he did. He didn't feel guilt, or remorse. They can't. The only time they feel sad is because they got caught. You are interested in him for the wrong reasons. If he had looked like a regular killer, I doubt you would be on this board. Does John Wayne Gacy fill you with as much compassion? How about Ed Gein? I read your posts and felt worried, you never know what message you are sending out there. The reason I said a sociopath would see you coming, is they have an unnerving talent for picking up those vibes, scoping out the naive, the gullible and the needy. -

I am a psychologist and developed an interest in Bundy after watching "the riverman" earlier this year. I have had many sleepless nights worrying about the fact that such dangerous sick individuals are walking this earth the very minute.
I believe that anybody who can develop a deep compassion for someone like Bundy, who was wreaked havoc and destruction in the lives of so many people, has a mental health problem themself. And to mask it under the guise of "Christianity - this makes me even more suspicious. It's all very well loving thy neighbour etc. - but when it is stressed again and again, post after post, how sorry one feels for Bundy and the deep mental illness he was plagued by which "forced" him to commit these crimes (and then brag about them!!) - well, the mere fact that you keep stressing this, PyrettaBlaze, this is not healthy or normal. I have seen that you even started a thread "commemorating" the execution of Bundy. While most people who are on this board seem to be morbidly obsessed with Bundy to some degree (myself included), you, Pyretta, are definitely taking it to another level.
I suggest that before you start banging on again about compassion and Christianity, do a bit of soul searching and ask yourself why you really are so fascinated with Bundy. Morbidly sexual reasons?
Do you have a sister, a daughter, a niece, a mother, a granddaughter? What if she was killed by a person like Bundy? I look at my daughter every day and pray for her to be safe. How would you feel if your daughter was killed, and then someone would come up to you and say, we must forgive the killer, we must commemorate his execution? Put yourself into their shoes for a minute, if you will, not just Bundy's shoes all the time.
Yes, he may have been ill, but that is no reason to feel sorry for him. Even Christianity does not tell us to feel sorry for killers. Especially if they are unrepentant. (And don't tell me he was - he was not). Which Bible have you been reading?
