I am facinated with the true crime cases, though I don't know much about Bundy. My uncle said that when he went to college that he knew a girlfriend of Ted Bundy's. I think he also said it may have been "the one the talk about in the movies and books". Would he mean Anne Rule?

No, Stephanie Brooks possibly. That is also, the inspiration when she broke up with him, and later, he broke up with her. To get back at breaking up with him, in the first place. That inspired his murders.
Women had parted hair, just like Stephanie Brooks did.
