Apparently, Carole did love him, and I suppose he loved her as much as he possibly could have. As for marriage and why, she honestly did believe he was innocent. When he confessed, she took it very hard.
As for their child together, in Ann Rule's The Stranger Beside Me, when an inmate wants to have sex with their wife/gf, according to a prison guard @ Florida State prison, a bunch of prisoners draw straws and whoever wins gets to take their girl into the bathroom or wherever and the guards look the other way. It's anyone's guess if that was deliberate or accidental (the baby being conceived, that is).

Well, I can only imagine what Carole Ann has gone through telling her child who her father is. And how hated he was. And what he had done to women that are her ageI think she's in her late teens now.
Certain things in life I'll never understand. Carole Ann and Bundy is one of them.

There's just such a major ick factor in that he was with Carole AFTER he raped all of those girls, and even violated some corpses. The thought of a woman having sex with him after he's had sex with a dead body is enough to make me blow chunks for miles.
I feel for her, I really do. She loved him and trusted him, and she found out that he, the father of her child, was a rapist, sociopath, murderer, and pervert. But in a way, it's good that her child's father is dead. Who knows, he was so messed up that he may have even molested his daughter had he been allowed to go free. -

Where'd you hear that? I never heard about that.
Not that I'm saying that you're wrong, but some people have got some strange fetishesso that tying up and playing dead could kind of be a relatively harmless pastimenormally people that are necrophiles are terrified of rejection, so they can only handle having sex with somebody laying perfectly still, or dead. It is somewhat rare that they are violent. I read about the whole necrophile fetish on crimelibrary.com.
The verbal abuse is a red flagyet, there are some people that don't mind being called interesting names behind closed doors during the act. Who knows, maybe she was crazy enough to think that he was just playing some game.

I read somewhere that sometimes he had her just lie still, be quiet, and play dead while he had sex with her, and there are people who say that he called her names like "my hot b1tch" while they were having intercourse. Whether either one, or both of these are true, I don't know, but they both sound disturbing and messed up.

You're getting Carole Boone confused with the girlfriend he was dating during his murder spree. There was no way that he could have done all that kinky stuff with Carole because he was incarcerated the entire time they were together.

The irony is that like Bundy himself, his daughter never really knew her father. In my opinion, this was best for the child considering what a sadistic psychopathic monster Bundy was. The truly bizarre thing is that Bundy's daughter today at 26 probably resembles many of the victims that Ted butchered during his killing spree in the 1970s. The few photos they have shown of her on Bundy TV documentaries show a dark haired, beautiful little girl with her mother visiting her father at Florida State Prison.
