Well, for me it's gotta be Mr Haney from TV's "Green Acres"! For me, he was one of the many high points of the show.

Charlie in the Alfred Hitchcock episode "The Jar". Love that episode and have it on vhs. If you havent seen it find it!
And of course Mr. Haney. I grew up watching Green Acres as a child even though they were re-runs. Now at 36 my little ones enjoy watching it when I DVR it off of TVland. I still love his character, he made a scheister funny and lovable in the Mr Haney character.
