I needed to call a lady friend's daughter whose name happens to be Darian.
I went through the contacts in my phone and dialed.
Upon getting an answer, I asked, "Hello is this Darian?"
"Yes, it is."
"Hi, Darian. Sorry to bother you, but when I came home yesterday, the door to the house was unlocked. I need you to please make sure you lock the door."
"I always lock the door."
"It was unlocked when I came home. I don't know if it was you or your Mom, but please make sure you lock it."
D (confused): "Uhhh okay."
"Great. Sorry to bother you. Thanks. Bye"
After hanging up, I knew something wasn't right. I checked the number that I had dialed and it was Darian Caine's.
I had spoken with her a few times when I was casting my first feature "Filthy Rich Filthy Uncle Phil".
She was unable to work with me at the time due to schedule conflicts but I still had her # in my phone.
I called Darian back, explained what happened and she laughed. She said that she was perplexed as to the nature of my call since she doesn't live with her mother.
Darian is a very pleasant gal and if I have a part for her in my next feature, I would definitely like to work with her.

Very funny story, Buzz. I just met and spoke to Darian at the Chiller Horror Con in Parsippany on Sunday; I agree with you that she's a really nice lady.
1,000 mini-bios and I feel like I'm just getting started

My assumption is that he typed Darian into a virtual rolodex. It's a good thing he called back or else she'd be checking her windows for some creep trying to get into her place. lol. funny story
