back in the 80's dean was in some great movies.!! yeah, none of them have been huge hits but, i'm sure better than what people thought. i haven't seen much from him lately.. especially anything with some real substance in it.

After completing Summer School, Dean was offered a three picture deal by Paramount. The problem was, the bastards decided to renig on the deal. As a fellow actor, that tends to piss you off when projects are cancelled before your very eyes!

How sad. I only saw Ski School but Dean was awesome in that.

I actually saw a film he did last year called Grace & the Storm which was an amazing little indie. He played this character who's actually a lot like the burnout/slackers he played in most of his other films, only the story was really intellectual and dramatic, so Cameron got to do some pretty heavy dramatic work.
I'm not sure where this film is going to be screening again, but I was thrilled to see him in the cast, which was great across the board, especially for an indie.

grace and the storm plays the palm beach international film festival in april, it screens april 17, 19, 21. its not easy to find anything but mainstream garbage in the sunshine state, (another showing of scooby-doo 2, anyone?) so anything with mr. cameron is worthwhile. bring on ski-school 3 🙂

I thought I was one of the only people who's seen Grace and the Storm! Until now, I didnt even realize who that was playing Rich Karma, but WOW! he was great. The scene where he actually takes the Grace and Pipe finds him high gave me goosebumps!! I must have seen Summer School five times when I was in jr. high but I never made the connection. Who knew that Chainsaw had the chops for such a great dramatic performance?

quit trying to fool people into seeing your crappy movie by posting fake positive comments on these message boards?

Franko- Just because you didnt like a movie gives you no right to deem anybody who DID enjoy it a "loser." That's just plain childish. Since "discovering" this movie, I've shown it to as many friends as I can, and almost every one of them throughly enjoyed it and the few who didn't aren't "losers" in my eyes, they just formed different opinions. Note to everybody else, especially to fellow Dean Camron fans: Grace and the Storm is awesome.
