Let's face it, not many people need to be even PROFICIENT singers to make their mark in pop music. You just need to have an interesting look, an ability to get headlines and an ability to put the hours in during long, exhausting recording sessions and video shoots.
For whatever reason, Cassie is still tied to the hip with Sean. If she's on Interscope, she needs to set up private meetings with Jimmy Iovine and convince him to help her work with some GOOD producers, including vocal producers who can work with her pleasant, albeit thin, voice. I really fear that she's basically doing this all on her own, since Sean SEEMINGLY has no interest in anyone's career at Bad Boy other than her own. Cassie is very resourceful/smart, but I think she needs a much better team that is outside the Bad Boy Camp.
