i was blind when i saw your momma lol anyways cassie so does not resemble a filipino,she wears a weave and has a beautiful body which all black people have,and yes im black annd i dont like it when people say they have white or half asian when they look more asian,u would have never know cassie was half asian,she looks like an ordinary black girl.

Why waste time arguing with herrerafan? This person obviously has a 2000dualistic worldview and is very narrow-minded. You might as well talk to a brick. There's no point forcing somebody who's not ready to learn to move to a recognition of multiple and potentially valid perspectives and then to a contextually relative approach to judging the adequacy of differing perspectives.
That said, I really hate it when people insist that I look like I belong to such and such ethnicity and race or nationality! Why would people insist on labelling others, "putting them in their place" and checking the "appropriate" boxes for them? Just treat the other person as a PERSON first, not as a Black/African-American person, Asian person, etc. Even within the same racial/ethnic group, people have different ways of identifying themselves. For example, some prefer to be called Black while others prefer to be called African-American. Some Asians do not mind being called Asians, while some would be offended and only want to be specifically referred to as Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Thai, etc.
We are all individuals and are unique in our own ways. Nobody should have the right to tell us that we have Chinese eyes or Black hair or Filipino nose or anything like that. You guess incorrectly and you end up sounding like an A$$! And if you insist on arguing based on your unauthenticated "facts" then you sound like an even bigger A$$!
When I first saw Cassie in Step Up 2, I thought she had a very interesting looking face and beautiful facial features. I thought she COULD HAVE BEEN either Latina or part Asian. But I never thought she HAD TO BE such and such ethnicity or race. Turns out she's a little bit of both and more. Nothing wrong with that! -

actually i dont think she looks that black at all. she looks very hispanic to me. and not all black people have nice bodies, i be seeing black women that are more muscular than men and that is not attractive. black women are usually thicker than other races but that doesnt mean the have a nice body when their ass and legs got stretch marks and cellulite. and that goes for every race

If you read her message history in some posts she babbles about how she's half japanese ha5b4lf puerto rican; in others she talks about being chinese, norwegian and italian; and in this post she says she's half black. She's probably some little dorky high school tween with low self esteem about her ethnicity - whatever it is. -

hollywoodphreak, for someone who is complaining about other people being ignorant you're being ignorant yourself by saying that filipinos have asses because they have spanish blood and that filipinos are not like most asians. So to have an ass means you have to be mixed with spanish? and beside less than 3% of filipinos actually have spanish blood anyways dont let the last names fool you cuz those spanish names were assigned to families by the spanish government not because of descent. Asian is asian it makes no difference. no asian is better than the other each country has their own history and culture so to put yourself above another group is ignorant too.

As big as their tits are, I'll have to admit, the average asian IS flat. JUST like the average filipino IS flat. He never said there were no exceptions. There's exceptions in everything, and I'll admit, the attractive asians ARE attractive. The attractive filipinos ARE attractive.
He never meant his comment in a bad way. He was saying from what he has seen, he has observed the average filipina as being relatively flat. You're getting way too defensive. If you feel fine with saying that the average asian is flat, you should DEFINITELY NOT take offense that he just said the average filipina is flat.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

i never meant to stereotype and i don't mean offense. i'm filipino myself and have great pride in it. i know there are plenty of filipina women have chest, just as there are plenty that do not. i'm not saying its a bad thing.

lol you're being very immature and very ignorant. i have filipino friends and can tell filipinos apart from asians, and as soon as i saw her i knew she had filipino in here. she also does not have a very 'african-ish' body? like previously stated, she is very slim and flat which is more filipino than 'african-ish'. i don't undeb68rstand why you're getting so angry about people called her 'the filipino one'. you either have way too much 'african pride' that gets in your way or respecting and recognizing any other race, or you're very, very racist against filipinos and/or asians and refuse to believe that she is half. get over it.
