Have you heard how she's coming along with2000 her weight loss? Johnny Depp loved working with her. That scene where she came out of the police station bothered her too. Her daughter was in the crowd to make her feel better.

she deserves respect as any other person. and not because she does something to deserve it. because she is just human, like you and me. Get this inside your head , your body fat does not define your worth as a human.
Everybody is the same inside. -

She is a hero because she she lives her life under extraordinary circmstances. The way most of us don't have to deal with. She is not afraid to put herself in the spotlight and show herself. I think she was wonderful in Gilbert Grape and I think she was very, very brave. If I was in her position, I wish I could be half as brave.

How is she hiding herself from the world? That was a movie role. If you were like her, in a world as cruel as this one, you couldn't done what she has.

she's a hero because she is fat and was in a movie? you do realize she took this role because they were looking for someone morbidly obese and paid her a buttload of money, right? if you guys can help me put on about 330 pounds and get me into a movie then i can be an inspirational hero too!!!!
give me a break. i dont know her circumstances, but heros generally dont let themselves get to 500 pounds. respond back when she has LOST the weight and then i will say THAT is inspirational.

This woman is not a hero.
She's the size of a whale, and she's still alive.
So what?
Maybe she's just lucky.
Not a hero.
Maybe if she LOST 500 pounds, well then she'd be a hero.
I don't understand the point of this topic.
People in this day and age are completely ridiculous

She lives her life under extraordinary circumstances cause she has no other choice. It's not like the weight is going to drop off at any given moment. It's like people saying cancer survivors are brave, beep that. I'm a cancer survivor myself so I can say it I'm not brave I had no choice. Not having a choice and having to face something doesn't make you brave it makes you a victim of circumstance.

I know that's what he/she says, I can read. And still I don't agree. I use my own thoughts and experiences and not theory's from magazines, how reliable those magazines might be.
I think that scientist aren't exactly clear about this particulair subject because I've read articles and spoken to professionals who suggested to me that obesity isn't always your own fault.
