Think about it. I'm sure she's had many surgeries on her joints due to her weight. But I'm surprised her heart can still stand carrying that weight.

She probably wants to die. Or doesn't care about living. Because she must know that she will be dead soon and only she can prevent that.
I remember seeing a show about a huge fat guy who weighed about 420lbs. Doctor told him he was going to die soon and eventually, he got himself on a diet and lost all his weight. At the end of the show they showed him and he looked as thin as me. He must have dropped down to about 140lbs. It was amazing. -

I was very surprised she was still alive too. Even some people half the size of her who were born in their 40's die all the time of other reasons. And to all the people who say 'just stop eating' or 'go on a diet' obviously dont know how hard it would be for her. Do you think anyone
wants
to look and feel like that? It's easy for us to say that. I just hope she gets on track and tries hard to shed the weight. SHe's not too old to start

who were born in their 40's?
Yeah I am honestly shocked that she's still alive, I actually just came on her imdb to find out how long ago 5b4she died but when they had no date of death I thought perhaps they hadn't updated her page yet and decided to check the message board I mean it's not a bad thing shes still alive, thats great but she should really start looking after herself. -

That kind of weight loss is unhealthy. 420 down to 140?? I'm surprised that guy didn't die. Slow and steady is the way to go. Health and moderation; not crazy, extreme, and fast results for a television show!

I saw a photo of her from several years ago, and she appeared to still be relatively the same; I think she had lost a good 100+ pounds, but she was still basically bedridden. It's a shame for her and for the career she could have had, becab68use she is a very good actress. For many people who are morbidly obese, it's a lifelong struggle to get healthy, and many of them don't and end up dying young because of it.
People who get to be that large aren't just "lazy"they literally have an addiction to food, just like how people become addicted to drugs. I think there's a preconception that eating disorders are one-sided, but someone eating themselves to death is just the reverse extreme of anorexia. Eventually, like addictions do, it ends up spiraling out of control, and the next thing you know, they're no longer mobile.
