        Ryan Gosling? Seriously?
Bored me to tears in 'La La 'Land'.
Anyway, Ben isn't going anywhere just yet.

Jon Hamm is the same age of Ben Affleck.
If Jon Hamm is too old then your favorite Ben Affleck is too old too.

OMG, I heard the good news and rushed over. Although, BA is not the problem for me. BM is. And to think that I used to love BM when Christian Bale played him.
But now, whoever plays BM will get on my freaking nerve, because WB made me hate BM when they decided to add him to MOS to boost the BO numbers. How wrong they were.
Also, they made him the one who puts JL together. Every freaking thing must be BM-cent2000ric.
              But since
              Live By Night
(LBN) flopped, I had a feeling that WB would lose faith in BA's ability to write and direct a huge film like the BM films. He wrote and directed LBN and it flopped on BOM and it got 33% from all critics, 28% from the top critics, and 51% from the audience on RT.
              The Accountant
(TA), on the other hand, wasn't written and directed by him and it was a BO success and got 51%, 48%, and 80% on RT.
I guess BAs public cheating/divorced drama and allege drinking is really influencing his work. Thats a shame, though. As far as I know, BA is not known for being a good actor. I keep hearing that he plays himself in the roles he had. If true, then the only thing he has going for him is that he's a "brilliant" writer and director. Well, thanks to LBN, he lost that.
So it wouldnt surprise me if BA ends up just playing BM in the upcoming BM film. I hear hes being difficult about the script while WB wants to rush things. He wants the script to be perfect. But how does he know what a good script is after the LBN fiasco? lol

he has a co-writer for the Bat solo movie. Terrio is helping him.. so between the two of them they can hammer out a good script.
I think the WB is kind of learning a lesson that they needed to learn a long time ago.. that they can't just rely on the Bat to make them money from the DC properties.. that's why yesterday there was more Aquaman casting news.
i will say that i don't think the WB really knows what it is going to do past 2018 until they get more things firmed up with Gotham City Sirens & The Flash movie. they also need to figure out what they are doing with Cyborg.. it's fine to put him in the Flash movie but the guy needs his own movie for crying out loud.
i don't care if they catch up to Marvel.. people love Marvel & are less critical of it.. those are the breaks. DC just needs to keep trying.. the worst thing they could do is decide that it's not worth it anymore and give up on the characters.
people need heroes, especially with how the world is turning out right now.
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.

Terrio was bought in to re-write BvS and that was part of the reason the movie was delayed. Think about that.
WB is just a mess, directors jumping ship, massive re-writes and reshoots, bad casting, rushed/delayed productions and conflicting press releases. Talk about ruining your brand.

                    I agree with you.
And Live By Night was a HUGE BOMB.
Warner Bros. lost 75 Millions. Live By Night only made 30 Millions Worldwide and Warner Bros. spend 105 Millions in that horrible movie.

BvS was a very organic sequel to MoS, and it earned more money than MoS did.

BvS was a very organic sequel to MoS, and it earned more money than MoS did.
Firstly, MOS is the film that started the DC universe. Also, SM is one of the leader of JL, which is what the DCU consist of.
So, of course the next film will be a continuation of MOS. But in this case, BvS had the Trinity of the DCU, which SM is part of, in it. But MOS-2 is the real sequel to MOS, not BvS.
Secondly, BvS is not a 1-hero film. It had 3 heroes in it. BM is one of the most popular heroes in the DCU and it was played by an A lister.
So BvS had three very good reasons to pass the $.1 billion dollar mark easily. But it didnt even make $.200 million more than MOS, which was a 1-hero film of a not-so-popular hero, played by an almost unknown actor.

                        098 ~ MOS
                        084 ~ BvS
BTW, I hear that WB is adding new films to their schedule. WTH? And they wont make the Cyborg film anymore. I can already hear it:
They cancelled the film of the one black super hero.
Well, MCU will beat DCU again, because they will make a Black Panter (BP) film. BP stole the show in CA:CW.
Anyway, I just saw an article that says that Dark Seid (DS) will be the villain in JL-1.
                        http://www.msn.com/nl-nl/entertainment/nieuws/darkseid-in-synopsis-justice-league/ar-AAmPOai?ocid=spartandhp
I dont have time to translate all that. But it says that we could see some clues in BvS that DS will be the villain in JL-1. I, for one, dont know who or what DS is. So its no shock that I missed those clues. WB thinks everybody is a comic book geek.
They also say that you could see DS right hand, Steppenwolf, in one of the deleted scenes. Well, if that deleted scene is on the BR/DVD, then I didnt see it because I didnt buy the BR/DVD.
                        Lastly, they say:
They will have to stand against Steppenwolf (Ciarn Hinds), the right hand and second-in-command of the alien warlord Darkseid. Steppenwolf is sent out by Darkseid to detect three secret objects on Earth.
Doesnt this sounds familiar? Wasnt there something about 6 mystical stones in
                        The avengers
? So now JL is about 3 secret objects? Dont these super hero films look too much alike?
