After looking at the blk/white pics its clear to see she was partly black some of her features just stood like her lips cheek bones e.t.c Maybe she looked different in living colour i don't know because white ppl can usually detect someone who thet deem not pure i.e jews for instance, hell they all look caucasion to me.

I think I see the blonde wigs, being blonde, and going 'out' around the face like they do, she looks less like a person of mixed blood, more 'jewish' makes sense, in retrospect.
of course, in this day of Vin Diesel's and Hallie Berries, folk of mixed parentage don't have to worry about 'passing' but things were different many years ago. -

Halle Berry couldn't pass for white. She looks like the average black woman. She doesn't look mixed at all.
Also, there are many other White people who have black blood in them, but they won't admit it. Heather Locklear and Wentworth Miller are other Whites who have admitted to having black/African American ancestry or blood. -

Wentworth Miller isn't a "white" person who has admitted to black/African American ancestry. Wentworth acknowledges that he is "biracial". His father comes from a very prominent black Memphis family, the Pinkstons.

Carol is an octoroon. Her dad is mulatto
Her father was NOT a mulatto. If he were she would have mentioned it. He was a light-skinned black man as it states. Meaning two black parents. Carol Channing is a Bi-racial/Black Woman.
