        Colbert tries to be funny, Fallon tries to be hip. They both fall short. I really do miss Leno and Letterman.

          I agree! I came over to this message board to say the same thing. I just don't get him. His dancing is really dumb too seems so out of place for this yuppie type of guy.

            But now he is kinda wierd.
            He is just not funny anymore.
            He is a sharp-tongued lion that turned into a lame puppy with stupid jokes.

                yup that pretty much sums it up. I appreciated the subtle wittiness of the conservative character much more. This kind of humor doesnt fit with the style/format of the Late Show and I think this is why most of his fans are disappointed and not tuning in.
