I've seen this guy quite a-lot in some 90's thriller movies. I can't seem to recall the name of those movies, but do you guys know any thriller/drama movies that he's usually the bad guy/con/schemer that he plays well in?
    thanks.

Check out Fatal Vision and The Lies He Told. The ultimate role is as Sheriff Lucas Buck in American Gothic, hands down one of his best rolesevil but not in an obvious way, very subtle and seductive. You don't question why the other characters are attracted to himit's a great play on character interactions.
He plays morally ambiguous characters very well. Also check out Indecent Seduction and Son of the Morning Star (General Custer). Recently he played a serial killer in An Officer and a Murderer (Lifetime Movies).
Also just to see him do his thing have a look at Conspiracynot a great movie, but he's fun in it as an evil sheriff in a border town. He's also great in Pineapple Express, a comedy, but he plays a drug dealervery funny.
Hulu plays the American Gothic seriesunfortunately cut short.
