that was her real name, Capogna. I'm not sure on her ancestry but she definitley is Italian. Favorite songs, back then, I can't even remember, this was the late 80's were talking here, probably New Kids on the Block. she should have won, we were all rooting hard. that would have been unimaginable that there would have been 2 Miss Teen USA's from the small town of Amsterdam (along with Ruth Zakarian, aka, Devon Pierce).
