NGL I wasn't even familiar with the guy (or his weird murder) until I looked him up, so tbh all I currently know is just what I read in that Wiki piece. Those two women (the manager who shot him) and the girl (Elisa Boyer who was trying to escape from him) do seem to have very plausible accounts as to how it happened. But I guess there'a always other theories. I'd need to put on my Columbo hat and try to think of some other explanation, I reckon.

Probably have, but, he was well before my time, so I may have had limited exposure to whatever hits he was famous for. I mean, by the time I started seriously tuning into the radio (early to mid 70's), he would've mainly been played on "oldies" stations, which I wasn't tuning into.
