Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Sam Cooke

    Hi all,
I was snooping around film archives looking for vintage appearances of
Sam and I stumbled across his second appearance on "The Steve Allen
Show", where he sung "Ol' Man River". It's also not the greatest
quality nor is it the greatest song, but at least it's something. In
addition, I may have possibly found complete clips of Sam's first
appearance on "The Steve Allen Show" and his appearance on "The Jerry
2000Lewis Show", where he sung "The Riddle Song" and "Twistin' the Night
Away". I'll see if I can get my hands on those episodes, but I can't
    promise anything.
Just for the convenience of the other members here, here are the
following web sites where I tried to find footage of Sam:

    UCLA LIBRARY CATALOG
