He's an actor. He needs a paycheck. He has to go where the roles are.

The fact is that "little people" aren't in the mainstream unless they are comic relief based solely on their height, or if god forbid someone made a sappy movie about a little person's love life, although it still wouldn't mainstream little people because the main characters condition in such a movie would be front and center. If you think tony cox should get better roles, he should lead the movement to integrate little people into mainstream culture and stop playing these roles where he uses his height as a joke in a crummy seltzer and friedberg movie. He typecasted himself, and done little people a disservice, so if he does have talent he certainly made some poor choices in his career. and btw, i haven't seen anything to suggest he was a particularily good actor
"we got reports of people getting stoned and playing spaceman in the streets" "yeah, us"

Oh come on! Peter Dinklage and Warwick Davis are both examples of two persons whose stature is not in large proportions but still get to star and steal shows in movies. I mean, just look at them go in the latest narnia movie they were incredible!!

Why do you get up and go to work, assuming that you have a job?

he's not "doing little people a disservice "dude's gotta get paid. he's gotta eat and support himself and a family. if that means doing some crap that's less than great so he can get a paycheck and have a nice life then all power to him, he's got a built in disadvantage in this industry, which is hard enough for actors of normal height, and he's working it to his advantage. anyone who work's in hollywood, actor or otherwise, understands the hustle. you gotta take what you can get. there's this myth that everyone is freaking brad pitt or johnney depp and can just pick and choose what they want. the realty is that for 90% of working actors the job is doing whatever you can, even if it means you are in a few bad movies.
