was not very good. The movie he did, Flight of the Navigator was a cute film, but it was very obvious he wasn't a good actor in it. Probably why he didn't go very far. Cute kid though.

It was his fourth film so lay off. Every kid can't be gifted in acting like Dakota Fanning for an example. I'd prefer him any day over people like Taylor Lautner.

I would've thought he would've had more of a career in acting. He wasn't amazing or anything, but I thought there was potential there.

I agree, his acting wasn't the best but he had definite potential. He also had a distinct watchability, which is sorely lacking in most young actors today.
I grew up watching him, and was surprised that he did not act more. In fact, he seemed to vanish right off the radar!

Aw really? I didn't think so, I thought he was believable. There are some scenes that were pretty raw emotionally.

his acting was great, especially in the scenes after he came into contact with his family eight years into the future
