where is Joey Cramer

2000
shannonm75 — 20 years ago(May 19, 2005 02:45 PM)I always thought that Peter Brady looked like Joey Cramer especially after watching the movie. And my brother would walk in while I was watching The Brady Bunch and Peter would be on and my brother would say something like, "Another Joey Cramer" like he had a twin or something.

wesleywalsh to,
If you have confirmation where is it? Do you have a link or a newspaper clipping? If you have a scanner you can upload a clipping. Where did you hear he died? I don't think IMDb has that info. I would REALLY like to see the proof.
Thanks

I found some link but it says he appeared in a movie in 1996. Thats all the info I think they just presume he is7ec dead. I'll keep checking. See if you have any proof.

shannonm75, I would fist like to say I haven't met Joey but would like to say, I do agree Joey is a great actor and it would be nice to see his return, he also reminds me of the Brady bunch, but the Brady bunch was out in the mid - late 70's, I would like to say this though I doubt he is dead, some of us in this industry, or should I say that worked or are still working in Hollywood leave sometimes I kick myself for it but we do leave, if he were dead there generally would be notification to IMDB so since there is not, along with no proof I would definately say he's not dead, I would also say, that sometimes, non-accredited works and non line appearences will not be added to the IMDB database unless, he is added by an agent or someone working on the set, If someone pops on here and does know Joey tell him it would be nice to see his return, and I definately understand if he got out to prevent himself from getting to in the life out there it does wear on you.

Maybe its best he retired, as so many Actors/Actresses seem to get used up before they know when to bail.If joey did it to get his college tuition / and set himself up, power to him.
I was 19 at the time of its release here in Oz, and it was a good film then and still is now. When the local video shop was selling off its old stock in 1990 I was actually given the original shelf copy by the Owner. I still have that copy fifteen years on,but have transferred it to DVD for ease of use, as my family still runs it once every few months or so.
Every time its screened here on TV/satellite ( im still in OZ by the way ) it rates very well, enough so that others still record it for thier kids to watch (and to watch with the kids) after being made aware of it.
the other movie i feel is still underrated is the Last Starfighter. It was panned here but has the same feel and watchability as TFON. worth a look if you have kids.
Joey if your looking on, thanks old son and goodluck in whatever you do -

I agree! I saw Joey on both "I-Man" and "Flight of the Navigator," and he was wonderful! Not only was he exceptionally beautiful, but he was a superb actor. I despise child actors who are "sing-songy," blatantly sounding as if they are just regurgitating memorized lines. Joey wasn't at all like that. His acting was very natural and very convincing. It's too bad he didn't make any movies as a teen I can imagine he would have been quite gorgeous!

sorry i forgot to check back for replies; so its been a while (i was telling him about the post i read on here, so thats why i was reading it up again). i was with joe again this weekend up on the sunshine coast; no i was not on a date with him, haha, i'm a guy, he's a guy, we ain't like that (not that theres anything wrong with that though, haha).
i can't really say why he stopped acting, because i don't know. its not really something i would ask a friend about his career you know? he has his reasons; he can come on here and talk about them if he would like to one day.
but he is doing very well still; being low key in a beatiful place. we did have a conversation about how much his character is liked these days but people my age (28) who saw the movie when we were kids. it was always something i was so excited to watch over and over again.
not much else i can say, cause its not my place. but yes, he is doing well and just living his life up here in bc. all i can say is what a great weekend it is with him around.
i'll tell him you guys send kind words and see if i can get him on here one day, hehe. as well, to the people who said he is dead and he was a sicko, get a life; go outside or something. don't you have anything better to do?
i obviously will not post his address on the net, but if you send me an email, i'll pass it along to him or something along those lines.
