I really wanted to write that lovely. blonde, blue-eyed beauty, Barbara Crampton had balls to do all that explicit nudity on-screen. I give her a lot of credit for it.
Her noteworthy stripping scene in, "Re-Animator", gave a new meaning to, "giving head". LOL. Yeah, ha, ha. It's an old, recycled joke about Re-Animator. But I had to use it again here.
Ironically, everything got more politically correct since then. You don't see that kind of sexual violence while the stranger, gore violence in such movies as SAW and HOSTEL have ramped way up past the old limits established long ago in Hollywood. And to think that back in 1970, "A Clockwork Orange" got an X rating for all its brutal muggings and fisticuffs and one rape scene, stuff that today would get just an R. -

I love "Re-Animator" and agree that Crampton had guts to do that scene but personally I thought that was going way too far. I saw it in a theatre opening night and (during that one scene)the audience was either screaming, laughing or yelling things. A few women walked out in disgust! As I said I thought it was too far and way too disgusting. I'm not the type of guy that needs nudity and horror mashed together. However, in the (I think) 2000 DVD there's an audio comnmentary with virtually the entire cast and Crampton was joking about the scene saying, "This is my mom's favorite scene!" and pointing out that she wasn't forced into it. Actually hearing her laughing about it and taking it so casually makes it easier to watch that scene:)

JustAMessageBoardPsoter2,
I agree. I don't think she did nudity in From Beyond like she did in ReAnimator, but she sure did look awesome in that garter outfit though. Hubba hubba!Earn Money Online

I love her twisted sense of humor about the whole Re-Animator perverted head thing. Seems she is a bit of an exhibitionistI like that in an actress! Unfortunately I only saw Re-Animator when it came out on VHS.2000 I really wish I was one of those lucky people who got to see it in the theaters. The audience reaction would have been interesting to say the least. A few years ago, I bought the collector's edtion DVD. Her commentary was hilarious.
Shame, the new Re-Animator movie is apparently shelved. I was looking forward to her return (even if she was to play a different character).
