the only one, and I think he favors Rickman waaayyy over Hoffman. In fact, I've seen thousands of pics of Ian, and only one has ever caught my eye as resembling Hoffman.

They've actually appeared together on stage in the UK.
I think it was one of his Anthony and Cleopatra performanceswill have to check my references.

Okay, I read the title of this thread and laughed. I thought someone meant Hoffman from the Saw movies and I thought, what is this person smoking? Just funny, but, yes, I think this guy is cute, and I do see a resemblance to a young Dustin Hoffman. I just got a bad impression of him in the two Special Victims Unit episodes.

I can totally see the resemblance to Dustin Hoffman, now that you all bring it up.
I also agree that HIC is waaaaaaaayyyy cuter than Hoffman is or ever was (when he was younger.)
Heyyyyy, what about a remake of The Graduate with HIC and hmmmmmm, who would be good as Mrs. Robinson opposite him ? LOL LOL (Just kidding, HIC is a bit too old for the role, but mayyyyybe he could still pull it off after all, we'd all be rooting for him and he's young in our lusty eyes)

I seem to be alone in this camp of thought, but in the episode orientation at least his slightly panicked and off balance, crazy-eyed look made me do a double take because of his resemblance to Judd Nelson in Breakfast Club.

The resemblence is striking."
With the last couple episodes of Lost, that is the exact same resemblence I saw.
