EXACTLYI was going to start a thread about this as well. When I saw A Perfect Romance (little Lifetime movie withb68 Kathleen Quinlan) I thought he looked so much like a young Hoffman, from "Kramer vs. Kramer" especially. And tonight, I just saw all of K vs. K on AMC, and sure enough, their faces are almost exactly alikethey can easily be identical twins, because I know identical twins who look less alike than these two guys. Yes, HIC is taller, but their mouths, the lines around their mouths, their EYESCOMPLETELY, the coloringit's uncanny.
Hoffman looked adorable in K vs. K, and he looked pretty good in "Last Chance Harvey" as well.but I still think that they should have paired up Emma with someone a little youngeroh wellI still loved that movie.
As for HIC, I never watch Lost. Can you recommend any good films he's done? -

If you can catch Perfect Romance on Lifetime some time, it's an adorable little made-for-TV movie.
His biggest movies, as far as feature films, are The Gob68spel of John, Half Light and Hitman (approx 5-minute scene).
He was in the new direct-to-DVD film of Dead Like Me, released in 2009.
He had a 2-eppy role in '24' in Season 5.
Most of his other work has come out of the UK, so we don't have easy access to it in the States.
Coming up, he portrays Charles Darwin in Darwin's Darkest Hour, which will be on Nova, which usually runs on PBS, October 6th 2009.
Hope that helps!

Hadn't even thought of that myself, but now you mention it, when Desmond was clean-shaven and with short hair, there is a resemblance. The first thing I thought of was the height though - he's about twice the size of Dustin Hoffman LOL thanks all those people who are giving a shout-out to sexy Scottish accents

And let's not forget that Henry is also part-Irish.

You're absolutely spot on! I think a lot of his features mimic Dustin Hoffman. The whole time I was watching LOST I couldn't believe it; even the smile! I could have sworn they were related
Good shout on the resembelance
Hope you're well. x -

I've been watching Lost for some time now and find it amazing how much this actor looks like Hoffman. Some may say no, and the reply I would give is that a child will take on looks of each parent.
Just for the sake of argument let's say he's Hoffman's long lost son. Excusing it away due to Dustin's height. We have no idea how tall mom is, ri5b4ght?
So next question I'd be asking is, was Mr. Hoffman in Peru in the summer of '66, or was mom in the states around that time.
And is it any coincidence that Dustin's last name and Mr. Cusick's first name both start with an 'H'hmm
