"Flashes" were amazing.
I cried when Des was breaking up with Penny, OMG this show is going to kill me one day ^^ I mean - this is really love, not like Sawyer and Kate, which is simply sick and wrong.
And the whole episode was incredible, so diffrent from regular LOST, I love the scene were Desmond is seeing Charlie singing "Wonderwall" [love that song] and it starts to rain
I think Locke is a great character too and I adore cynical Ben

First off, he's the hottest guy on the island, even beating Josh Holloway in my opinion, and he is hard to beat. Terry O'Quinn used to be my favorite but since Flashes Before Your Eyes and Catch 22 I am a Desmond gal all the way. He's such an interesting character and the one character who's back stories I never get tired of watching. I really hope that Desmond remains crucial to the plotlines and stays around for a long time. He's intriguing to watch and I think Henry Ian Cusick is one of the better actors on the show. Oh, and he should stick with the long hair and beard, and never lose the accent!

I'm going to have a lot of the women on this site disagree with me, but I don't find Sawyer that attractive. He has nice eyes, I'll give you that but he's selfish and annoying and those are not attractive qualities.
I like Jack's muscular build, and while he was the hero he was my favourite. These days (although I love to see him in that sleeveless shirt) he has lost some of his appeal. 1st of all because of his attraction to Juliet (who we don't trust) and secondly because of this biligerant, aggressive way that he has.
Desmond, on the other hand, has the looks, the physique, and is prepared to sacrifice himself for the group (he risked himself in blowing up the hatch and when he tried to save Charlie by wanting to swim down to the Looking Glass instead of him).
Attractiveness is as much about a guy's personal qualities as the way he looks. These are qualities that makes Desmond attractive, and I don't understand why he has been branded a coward in previous episodes.
(I just wish he'd shave the beard!)

I agree they do seem to be showing Sawyer in a better light. He has been caring towards Kate and killed Tom because of Walt and not for what he did to himself.
During the 1st season I just wanted to slap him! Josh has said himself that he knows Sawyer has this effect on women and that all the women on the island are going to want to take a swing at him at some point
I suspect Sawyer r111cevels in the whole thing.
As for Desmond, we have seen him clean-shaven/short hair, stubble/long hair & beard/long hair. Normally I would like the short haired version, and I do but my fav Des look is the stubbly long haired look. It suits him. The short haired "just got out of the army" look just wouldn't work on the island.
Another thing about Des that works for me is the open shirt thing! All the other men wear sweaty t-shirts and it's such a turn off. Des does this open shirt thing which especially works when he has been in the water!!

I don't know if I would stop watching just cuz it has sucked me in so much, but def. would lower it as my fav. tv show if they killed off my most fav. character!
Because of Charlie's death, my interest in this show is already lowered. I am not as existed about this show as I used to be which means if something better is on during that timeslot, I might just watch it instead of Lost unless there is Desmond or Locke. Killing Desmond will be the final straw. -

I have quite a few favorite characters on Lost, but lately I have been obsessed with Desmond. He is just so appealing and there is so much more to find out about him. My only111c question is was he a part of the original Dharma mission? Because in Ben's flashback episode it showed everyone being killed. However Desmond talks about going onto the island and joining the Dharma thing, or so I thought, to prove to Penny's father he is worthy of her or whatever.

Good. I am happy that many others agree that Desmond is the bestest. Like someone mentioned, Locke was my favorite before but I have to say that Desmond is now my favorite, followed by Locke, Sayyid and then Sawyer.
I love when he says brotha!!!!Very good casting on the role of Desmond. He is one of the reasons why I still watch this show.
