Wellhere's the thing. I actually think that, contrary to what quite a few people in other threads have been saying, Cat Deeley is quite a talented presenter. She has a nice presence and is tactful, doesn't put her foot in it but for some reason (maybe it's precisely BECAUSE of that!), she does annoy me.
Not an awful lot, but I still find her mildly grating. Maybe it's because she does seem so "likeable&qu5b4ot;, so bloody "one-of-us", yet she still has celeb mates like Victoria Beckham and Liv Tyler (I believe she has been shopping with both those gals). -

Is she really british?,the reason i find her so annoying is because one her outfits always suck except for last night. And her accent is weird, im sorry but if that's british that's the worst brit accent she could have ever gotten stuck with.Its like the weirdest mixture ive ever heard considered a british accent.

OMG my mom and I watch the show and we say that all the time. Her accent is weird, and I usually like accents. Nigel's is okay because its not likegrating. I can't explain it but her voice is already like nails on a chalkboard but with that accent.euhghh.
And whats with the outfits. They're so ugly. The one she wore last night was so unflattering and made her look like she had the worst boyish figure. No boobs or butt.
Guys go out with blondes but they marry the brunettes -

Remember the host from last season? Well, when you think about it, Cat is waaaaay better! That whats-her-name from last year was so obnoxious. I also think Cat is very pretty and has a funny personality( like how she always would get really close to Dmitry, lol, funny!). The only time she bugs me is when she says "Right after the break". But that of course, is not her fault, but it is incredibly annoying to have to listen to over and over and over and over! Not to mention there are like way to many commercial breaks. But again, that's not her fault. I like her, good host.

I gotta say this woman gets on my last nerve. I've actually had to record the show and fast forward any moments that she's talking. I hate her accent (esp. the way she says jih-jis (judges)), her crooked nose, the way she presses her lips together or smacks them after she says something, the way she picks at her fingers when she's just standing there, everything! If I just saw a picture of her, fine, she's a pretty girl, but when she opens her mouthUGH!!! I just can't stand it!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I love the show, but I think they have to get rid of her!!! -

i think she annoys me cause of the way she walks, yah its stupid i know i think she has trouble walking with heelsits very annoying
oh and the other thing is how she always repeates herself
"he'll have one last chance to prove how good he is"- god its annoying to here that a billion time
and the final thing i hate is her always saying how -(i dont think i can put this one into words)- its our fault if our favourite ended up there i mean oh my gosh if you vote you did yur part and not everyones favourite can stay out of the bottom 2 cause yah that wouldnt be a competition

I don't hate the girl but what annoys me is her accent, don't get me wrong I love british accents but hers sounds kind of fake even though I know she is British!!!
P.S. she needs to gain weight!!!

Well you Americans seem to think the only British accents that exist are cockney "alright guv'nor" etc, and very Posh queens english style lol. She has a regional English accent - and I think a pleasant speaking voice. Some of the accents I've heard from American actors trying to do British accent are just terrible! They hurt me inside looool. She is considered very attractive over here - was one of the top 10 in FHM's "100 sexiest Women" a few years back over here (the original and British version of the magazine I mean). But then agen American female presenters are usually painfully fake and just there to talk evenly and look pretty - over here we like them to have a bit of character to boot. She was a HUGELY successful presenter here in the UK before she went stateside - so she has plenty to fall back on if you yanks reject her lol.
