Yeah i agree with that the black country accent is really strong, but i still think Brummies have an accent that would be noticable to people outside of Birmingham.

Lol. I can see how it can be annoying to people who aren't used to it. I love the cockney accent
I agree about the scouser accent!

Oh myfirst off..im englishand there isn't really a british accent. It's either Welsh, Scottish, Irish or EnglishThen you split that into regionsCat Deeley is from Birmingham..she speaks with a slightly different regional dialect and accent as does people from Northern England..Liverpool and Manchester and so forth. I come from the south, and that is generally what the 'British' accent is to americans.
Cat Deeley is such a talented presenter and I gotta say, she is brilliant, funny and just really good.
She has the same accent as Ozzy Osbourneshe's from Birmingham..deal with it.
And if you don't think she's good, she's wasted on you. She's Immense.
Okay, rant over. -

No worries, you didn't offend me.
I guess in some places it is. Not to sound like a snob, but i live in a very nice area in a nice street and although my neighbours are well spoken, i'm not.
