SHE'S A GREAT ENTHUSIASTIC, UPBEAT HOST, A SINCERE SOUL - AND SHE ALWAYS HAS A KIND, ENCOURAGING, OR SPOT ON COMMENT. A REAL PROFESSIONAL. THERE'S A DEFINITE WIT ABOUT HER.
SHE REALLY IS THE BEST HOST OUT THERE OF THE "REALITY" SHOWS. -

Absolutely agreed! Cat has a sense of genuineness that is lost among a sea of no talent reality tv hosts. I can't recall one instance where she hasn't projected class, grace and beauty while hosting "So You Think You Can Dance". She is amazingly charismatic and charming, while being INCREDIBLY sexy. She stands as a lone reed in her field and you must be blind if you can't acknowledge that.

What's wrong with her voice? I find it a relief after the voice of the judge called Mary on "So You think you can dance," who really does have a voice like a chainsaw.

Really? That's a really strong statement. She grows on you after awhile. I like her because she is genuine and loves what she does. She is not a diva by any standard. She's definitely not plastic like the host from the first season of SYTYCD. Cat has a personality and loves to interact with the contestants on the show.

I don't hate HER, so much, but her voice is the most grating sound on the planet! I especially hate it when she says "Eight Eight Eight" in that awful voice of hers! I'd rather hear fingernails down a chalkboard.
My wife watches that show. It's nothing but an audience filled with screaming twelve year olds! Hate it! -

She's not as annoying as other hosts, like Springer on AGT or something. The only problem I have with her is she can't dress her way out of a paper bag. She always looks horrible. If it's her choosing those outfits she needs to study fashion again, if it's someone else- they need to be fired ASAP. She's pretty but all those horrendous outfits make her look like a fashiontard.

What I don't like about Cat is everytime a couple finishes dancing, she always walks up with some obnoxious comment during the applause like she's trying to steal the dancers' glory. She needs to quiet down and relax after the routines..it's not her moment, it's the dancer's.

she annoys me to death..what was with that accent she was using on 'Bones, access all areas' she never talked like that over here in the UK, she's so fake its unreal. I had to turn it off after 5 minutes, does she use that fake accent on all presenting she does in the USA?

Chances are she's adapted her accent slightly to make herself more easily understood to American audiences. I do the same myself, I'm not in TV, just simply so that people listen to what you are saying rather than focusing excessively on the accent.
Of course what that means is that I now have some kind of ridiculous "mid atlantic" accent and sound like a cross between Lloyd Grossman and Madonna! -
