Where is she now?

She was hospitalized in the late 1960s and returned to Austria, having lived there ever since. That was forty years ago. It's scarcely as if she's been locked up since then. Like a number of other ex-Playboy models, she simply has walked away from the so-called glamour and returned to a normal life.

"asking for some specifics not vague, and possibly fully speculative comments"
To imply that
Susan Denberg
was STILL having the problems she had nearly 40 years ago is unfair to her. If there isn't updated information in support of that, then to simply assume nothing has changed is the pure speculation.
Common sense would favor the comments made by
tednewsommgm007
above but without actual knoweldge it can't be considered fact.
I do agree thatb68 factual updated
specific
information about her would be nice.
To accept injustice is cowardice.

My post was not speculative. I'm the producer & writer of the documentary FLESH & BLOOD, THE HAMMER HERITAGE OF HORROR. I located Denberg while I was setting up interviews for the show, and got the information from those who knew her that she wanted nothing to do with her previous life. She's not institutionalized.

Tednewsom, it's been years since this subject has been discussed but wanted to thank you for discussing accurately what you know. Stating gossip as fact, as other poster did, is cruel to someone who makes every effort to change their life and wants to leave that behind them. But especially reprehensible to disrespect someone of her age. I agree with the other posters that your version sounds more likely and now we know is the truth. Bless her for spending 40+ years trying to live down a few foolish years when she was young and naive in a foreign country. We've all made mistakes but I wonder how many of us spend our lives trying to outrun it. Would be nice if we could just discuss her career.
I came here looking to see which of the 3 women she is on Star Trek only to find no picture! A beauty with no picture? Odd.
