I'm so happy that Hugh is going to be on a US show now. It looks like a great show and a great character for him to play. Lots of character angst to show off his acting. Plus I love him bald. I really hope that the show lasts.

Yeah, its a Canadian show, and portaying Canada (which is unique).
I just dont want this actor to be typecast as the hard-a$$ cop all the time.
Man this party is like an orgy at a campsiteits ***king in tents. -

I agree.
Living in Canada, you don't see many shows like this. b68The only other show that I've seen that's set in Canada and actually referencing Canadian locations is the "Degrassi" Series (Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, Degrassi: The Next Generation).
"Mutant X" is filmed in Canada, but set somewhere else entirely, but it's cool to see ittle elements of Canada come up in the episodes (I saw a TTC streetcar pass by the team in one episode). -

I was on a streetcar but going the other way on King while they were filming this scene. I can tell you that a lot of people thought this to be an actual takedown.

I can't say that really surprises me.
They were dressed just like Toronto's ETF (Emergency Task Force).
I guess that just shows us how far they're going to show realism.
