Dwarf actors furious at Peter Dinklage for getting Snow White remake cancelled

Dwarf actors have reacted furiously to Disney canceling the seven dwarves from its Snow White remake after Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage called them offensive, saying the decision robs them of work and the chance to fulfil what for some is a dream role.
Speaking to DailyMail.com after Disney's decision to 'rethink' the characters, multiple actors and agents said there are plenty who would have happily accepted the jobs that Dinklage - a Golden Globe winner who was paid $1.2 million per episode of Game of Thrones - said were 'backwards'.
The actors say Dinklage is not the authority on what the community as a whole finds offensive and that in canceling the roles, Disney has done far more damage to them than good.
Some are now begging Disney to bring the parts back and are begging for the chance to audition for them.
'It makes me so sick to my stomach to think that there are seven roles for dwarfs that can't get normal acting roles, or very few and far between roles, and now they are gone because of this guy.
'Peter Dinklage is the biggest dwarf actor probably of all time but it doesn't make him king dwarf,' Dylan Postl, who played Hornswoggle the leprechaun in WWE for 10 years and has also acted in The Muppets, told DailyMail.com.
'When he was cast as a little person role in Lord of the Rings or in a Game of Thrones or in Elf or this that or the other thing… those checks cashed just fine.
'He had no issue then. But now he wants to be progressive? Come on man.'

Game of Thrones actor Peter Dinklage has taken aim at Disney for what he called its “****ing backwards” forthcoming live action adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Dinklage, who stars in Joe Wright’s new film, Cyrano, accused the studio of double standards by attending to racial diversity in its cast but falling back on other damaging stereotypes.
“I was a little taken aback by [the fact] they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White,” Dinklage told podcaster Marc Maron, “but you’re still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
Dinklage, who has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia, continued by saying Disney should have stepped back and reassessed the project.
“You’re progressive in one way but you’re still making that ****ing backward story of seven dwarves living in the cave. What the **** are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess I’m not loud enough.
“They were so proud of that, and all love and respect to the actress and the people who thought they were doing the right thing but I’m just like, ‘What are you doing?’”
Dinklage added that had a “cool, progressive spin” been put on the fairytale, he would have been “all in”.
Disney has since responded in a statement. “To avoid reinforcing stereotypes from the original animated film, we are taking a different approach with these seven characters and have been consulting with members of the dwarfism community. We look forward to sharing more as the film heads into production after a lengthy development period.”
The remake stars Rachel Zegler, fresh from her acclaimed debut in West Side Story, with Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. Directed by Marc Webb, the film is said to be an adaptation and an extension of the 1937 Disney animated classic – itself taken from a Brothers Grimm story.
An updated version, Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart, met with a backlash on release a decade ago after the dwarves were played by actors of average height – including Bob Hoskins and Ian McShane – whose faces were digitally transmuted on to small bodies.
Aside from central roles, casting on the new Disney film, including that of the dwarves, has not yet been announced. -

Yeah, the king dwarf comment was funny.

Privilege segues into entitlement and narcissism due to success. This appears to have lead Dinklage to distortion and typical liberal thinking lunacy as though they are above everyone else and think they can represent the free-thinking world.
His "woke" casting in Cyrano also appears to have distorted a classic tale just to appear relevant and progressive. Cyrano is a character of classic literature with a big nose, a gifted poetic wordsmith and a splendid swordsman, he wasn't a diminutive figure pining away to be tall that then might stand a chance over his lustful coveting…
