and thats just from a quick glance at my dvd collection
what exactly has Ms Director ever done to prove her talents, because I've only ever seen her in Inside Man, and that wasn't exactly a showstopping role she had.
"It's just a movie" is no excuse for lazy filmmaking! -

but i'd pick Kim over them any day
shes gorgeous!!!! who cares if shes not as good as the award winners, she hasnt been given a chance to show what she can do.

She simply hasn't the body of work to be considered the best actress in the world. There are actresses in India who blow her away, and in South Korea, and basically anywhere in the world.
This is not saying she's bad, I think she's a decent actress and will continue to grow in her craft, but she has a long way to go and she needs some more starring roles.

I like her (just seen Inside Man and I knew I recognized her from Blair Witch 2) but she is definately not deserving of 'Best Actress Ever'!
