Hes one of the best and he fits burn notice perfectly. i mean if you dont like him then why in the heck are you wasting your time posting on a show you dont like? please get a life and go watch your twilight and comment on that because im sure its something you love or maybe 16 candles? lol people kill me with commenting on something you dont even like, why waste your life?

You're kidding, right? "Burn Notice" is the best show on now and he does a great job.
And here I thought Brittney Spears, Steven Seagal, and Lindsey Lohan were the worst ever.

i say no because it takes alot to be an actor and he plays his role so good with bruce and every one else i love the show so does my wife and i can not get enough of it, he plays his roles excellently it may not be all comedy and stuff but he makes his own some what comedy out of it with bruce c and me personally this show is a hit

He is OK. But he makes for bold choices that doesnt work for him time and again. And he has an odd face for expressions sometimes. Like when hes trying to convey intensity and anger its not good. Its goofy. Its sorta like ACTING! But hes generally fun to watch.

I SO looked forward to watching "Burn Notice" when it first came out..BUT he acts THE SAME.OPEN YOUR beep mouth and add some emotion and personality into your speaking!

That's the way the character is written - spy that doesn't show emotions. When JD is being Michael and not superspy Michael you can see the difference. Can been seen especially in scenes with Maddie (Sharon Gless) and in season 5 & 6.
As for his acting range - BN may not be to your taste but check him out in Touching Evil and his film works. He has quite a range.
