My favorite cover so far has been the check-washer in the Turn and Burn" episode. The wardrobe, accessories, and accent were perfect! Jeffrey Donavan really can become any character he chooses. For some reason, that cover was just my favorite to watch him sink into. What about you guys?

Yeah, forgot about that one, it was definitely fun to watch! I think the hallmark of a truly great actor (opinion here, of course) is the ability to become a character so vastly different than others previously portrayed, you wonder if the same person is even playing the two roles. it's like you can't even imagine the two characters knowing one another. i first noticed this about a few of reese witherspoon's movies it was hard to imagine her different characters could even exist in the same universe, nevermind be played by the same individual. i think when you have a hard time even reconciling the different characters' co-existance, it's the sign of the actor's talent to transcend and truly become any character. jeffrey donavan does this a lot in burn notice. (can't believe i haven't seen changeling yetcan't wait!)

Michael McBride and then the Russian prisoner, to answer the question.
Wow.
It's amazing how many different covers he can play; from cool and sophisticated to geeky and weak. Amazing.
And oh yeah, Lukeblade, that red shirt one was AWESOME.. One of my favorite eps. -

Exactly. The finger snap!! I watch a later episode and they say "what are you going to do, just snap your fingers?" and Michael says "It's worked before." I was laughing so hard.
I live in the past, but not my own. -

I will say Johnny. He was a car theif with his crew. Black suit and white shirt and sunglasses. Actually Johnny returned at the season Five. Johnny is the guy who offer 48 hours to the car thieves to leave Miami in order to save the football kid. Very tough and destructive and most of all COOL.

I loved the "Friendly Fire" when he was that mysterious "devil" in the black and red suit. He looked
GOOD
in that suit. And I loved how something exploded when he snapped his fingers (thanks to Sam and Fiona).
